Tutkielma käsittelee suomalaisen kansanterveystyön hallinnoinnin muutoksia 1970- luvulta nykypäivään. Aineistona käytetään keskeisiä suomalaisia terveysstrategioita: sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollon valtakunnallisia suunnitelmia (Valsut) ja tavoite- ja toimintaohjelmia (TATO:t) sekä Kansanterveys 2015 -kansanterveysohjelmaa. Tarkastelu tapahtuu kahden aineiston pohjalta luodun diskurssin ja niiden välisen kamppailun kautta. As the IASB’s due process sustains, the national standard-setters play a key role in the development of IFRS. There is still much to learn, however, about their lobbying practices, which arguments they use and when they do it. This chapter focuses on the accounting of share-based payments that were under-regulated before IFRS 2. Exporting Corporate Governance: Do Foreign and Local Proxy Advisors Differ?

Prior research documents that the large US-based proxy advisors, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and Glass Lewis (GL), play an important role as information intermediaries in corporate governance worldwide. We provide initial evidence on the role of local proxy advisors, using the German setting. We analyse voting recommendations by local (IVOX) and foreign (ISS, GL) proxy advisors. First, we find that IVOX’s voting recommendations differ substantially from those of ISS and GL. Despite the fact that the institutional out-of-family care provides the subject with physical security and satisfies his basic needs it cannot provide the most important aspect of the development of the child - the close relationship with at least of one of the adults who would be able to captivate and become a legal guardian for several years.
