Conventional Maize Monoculture (MMConv) is now questioned for environmental reasons. During a five-year field experiment, yield and weed pressure of MMConv was compared to three low-input Cropping Systems (CS) : MMLI, a Low-Input Maize Monoculture; MMCT, a Conservation Tillage Maize Monoculture; Maize-MSW, Maize rotated with Soyabean and Wheat, all designed to reduce water pollution. In 2014 and 2015, weed-free zones were established on all CS. Weed biomass was higher in MMCT, especially for spring grasses and perennials. International audience; In this article, we present a numerical analysis concerning ray propagation in a multimode periodic segmented waveguide with a gaussian index segment profile. We show that this simple waveguide configuration exhibits a complex ray dynamics that can be regular or chaotic depending on the initial conditions.

As a holoparasite, it entirely relies on host resources to survive and reproduce. It is a major pest in oilseed rape in France. Tämän kvalitatiivisen tutkielman tavoitteena oli selvittää viimeisen vuosikurssin käyneiden IB-lukiolaisten käsityksiä opiskelusta suomalaisessa IB-lukiossa. Aineiston keruussa käytettiin puolistrukturoituja teemahaastatteluja, ja tutkimusta varten haastateltiin seitsemää suomalaisen IB-lukion oppilasta. Tutkimuskysymykset koostuivat seuraavista aihealueista: IB-lukioon hakeminen ja koulutuksen rakenne, IB-opiskelijaprofiili, englannin kielen rooli koulutuksessa, jatkokoulutus- ja uraodotukset sekä kansainvälisyys.
