Tutkimuksen tehtävänä oli selvittää, millaisia interventioita päihteidenkäyttöön on kohdistunut tutkittavien ollessa alaikäisiä. Pro gradussani käsittelen nykyisin täysi-ikäisiä päihteidenkäyttäjiä ja heihin aikoinaan kohdistettuja interventioita. Aihe on lähtöisin Jyväskylän Seudun Päihdepalvelusäätiöltä ja heidän tarpeistaan. Kiinnostuksen kohteena interventioissa ovat yksilöiden omat kokemukset siitä kuka on puuttunut, milloin, millä tavalla ja millaisilta nämä puuttumiset ovat tuntuneet. Interventioiksi on katsottu kaikki puuttumiset päihteidenkäyttöön liittyen.
