Crystal structure of the diglycidyl ether of eugenol

The diepoxy monomer (DGE-Eu) was synthesized from eugenol by a three-step reaction. It consists of a 1,2,4-trisubstituted benzene ring substituted by diglycidyl ether, a methoxy group and a methyloxirane group. The three-membered oxirane rings are inclined to the benzene ring by 61.0 (3) and 27.9 (3)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the ab plane.

It is the statement of the Polish Experts on the group of patients that might benefit the most from inclisiran. We indicated the fastest way to have inclisiran available for the polish patients, with the necessary changes of the existing drug program for PCSK9 inhibitors (B-101), explaining why it is the optimal way, and why, taking into account available EBM data (the ORION program), inclisiran should be added to this program. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas ir sakarības un atšķirības starp ķermeņa pašcieņas un kibertiranizēšanas rādītājiem zēnu un meiteņu grupās un noskaidrot, vai pastāv sakarība starp šiem rādītājiem kopējā izlasē. Pētījuma grupa sastāv no 114 respondentiem (M=15,73, SD=1,12) vecumā no 14 līdz 17 gadiem, 56 zēni un 58 meitenes. Abstract An epidemiological and pathological study of Macracanthorhynchus hirudinaceus infection in a total of 50 wild boars Sus scrofa attila from cane sugar fields of Iranian Khuzestan was performed. The total prevalence of 64.0 % detected is the highest hitherto known by this acanthocephalan species in wild boars and may reflect a very high contamination of the farm lands studied as the consequence of the crowding of the wild boar population in cane sugar fields. Observations prove that this species is a wild boar gut wall perforating acanthocephalan. The systematic position and actual distribution of Recaredus rex, for a long time one of the most enigmatic lace bug genus and species, is very obscure because only the type specimen and three other individuals from India are known to date. In the present paper, we report the first records of R. rex from the Palaearctic region (Iran) and tropical Africa (Ghana). Based on the occurrence localities and climatic variables, we predict potentially useful ecological niches for this species using Maxent software. Glycosidic aroma compounds of some Portuguese grape cultivars

In order to evaluate the potential aroma of some Portuguese grapes, several glycosidically bound aroma compounds of ten grape varieties grown in Evora, Alentejo, Portugal, were released, identified and quantified using gas chromatography–mass spectrophotometry. White varieties were Arinto, Perrum, Rabo-de-Ovelha, Roupeiro and Antao Vaz. Red varieties were Trincadeira, Aragonez, Tinta Caiada, Moreto and Castelao. Grapes of Roupeiro and Trincadeira from five other vines in the Alentejo region were also studied. For each variety pulp and skin were analyzed separately.
