Physical activity (PA) programs are useful to help young elderly stay in good shape for their senior years. These programs should be sustainable, as this would keep the users active for months and years. A PA program should build on activities that users find meaningful and/or best suited for their history of sports and exercise as well as their present physical capacity. Young women’s contradictory expectations and their perceived capabilities for future work-family reconciliation in Finland

This paper explores young women’s expectations on future work-family reconciliation in Finland, a Nordic country well-known for the promotion of gender equality. Utilising Sen’s capabilities approach, we content-analysed thirty individual interviews to identify differences in women’s expectations and their perceived capabilities in future work and care. The results showed that irrespective of their labour market status and educational attainment, the women’s expectations were contradictory, reflecting a current Finnish gender culture that embraces both the ideal of shared parenthood and the primacy of maternal care. Digital Mental Health Resources for Children and Youth : Evaluation of Strengths in User Interface Design

The aim of this research is to explore the positive user interface (UI) design of digital mental health resources for children and youth. For this purpose, a heuristic model is introduced and heuristic evaluation is used as a method to systematically assess 49 digital mental health resources. In the assessment, the resources are evaluated by observing the prevalence of UI design strengths defined in the heuristic model. The results of the study indicate that the resources analyzed have strengths especially in the dimensions of visual design, content, reliability, engagement and functional design. Yrittäjyystutkimuksessa biologinen perimä, yrittäjäksi syntyminen, on siirtynyt taustalle. Painopistettä on suunnattu kasvatukselliseen pohdintaan. Se on tuottanut tutkimusta pääasiassa yrittäjyyden tieteenalalla. Pääpaino on ollut toisaalta aikuisväestön, jo ammatissa toimivien tai työttömien kouluttamisessa yrittäjiksi, toisaalta yrittäjyyden kytkemisessä ammatillisen ja korkean asteen koulutukseen. Yrittäjyyden pedagogisten perusteiden pohdinta on sen sijaan vasta lähtemässä liikkeelle.
