Artikkelissa tarkastellaan Inrikes Tidningarissa julkaistuja raportteja Pehr Adrian Gaddin (1727–1797) matkoista Suomessa vuosina 1763–1765. Tekstit sekä rikastavat käsitystä Gaddin toiminnasta istutuspäällikkönä että antavat esimerkin mahdollisesta julkisuuden käytöstä vapaudenajan lopun Ruotsissa.

International audience; Using daily rain-gauge records for Madagascar and nearby islands, this paper investigates rainfall intraseasonal variability at local and regional scales during the austral summer season (November–February), as well as the respective influences of recurrent convective regimes over the South-West Indian Ocean (SWIO) and the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO). Our results show a general consistency between local-scale rainfall variability in Madagascar and regional-scale features of climate variability. SLO is very seldom used in the nuclear sector, which has nevertheless applied similar approaches, under notions such as partnership and participatory governance. Economising failure and assembling a failure regime

Sociologists have largely neglected the topic of failure, and particularly the economising of failure, notwithstanding notable exceptions. This is puzzling, given the many adjacent literatures that have addressed the practices and processes of economising. Four features define our approach. First, it is argued that failure has none of the objectivity or inevitability often attributed to it. Second, it is suggested that failure be viewed as a variable ontology object. Tässä tutkielmassa tavoitteenani on artikuloida Habermasin julkisuuden käsitteen rooli Nancy Fraserin työssä. Keskityn yhtäältä erittelemään sitä, miten Fraser käyttää Habermasin julkisuuden käsitettä ja toisaalta kriittisesti arviomaan niitä ulottuvuuksia, joita julkisuuskäsite tuo Fraserin demokratiateoreettiseen projektiin. Habermas esittelee julkisuuden käsitteensä Strukturwandel der Öffentlichkeit - teoksessaan vuodelta 1962. Tässä teoksessa Habermas esittelee julkisuuden käsitteen historiantulkinnallisessa kontekstissa. Choice models in eldercare emphasise the importance of individuals’ abilities to make informed choices and therefore entail a risk for increased inequalities among older adults with care needs. In the Nordic countries, such inequality risks are in stark contrast to universal policy ambitions of equal access to care services.
