The Internet has become an important literacy environment, even for children. Therefore, building the foundations for their critical engagement with online information should start when they first enter school. Tutkimuksen kohteena oli vieraan kielen oppiminen ja opettaminen osana varhaiskasvatusta. Ilmiö on ajankohtainen, sillä vierasta kieltä tarjoavien varhaiskasvatusryhmien määrä on lisääntynyt globalisoituvassa maailmassa. Tutkimus keskittyi vanhempien näkökulmaan. Tutkielmani on kasvatusfilosofinen analyysi indoktrinaatiosta, dialogisuudesta ja kommunikatiivisuudesta opetuksellisessa kontekstissa. The aim of this study was to investigate the conceptions of teachership among graduates (n = 126) from a Finnish higher education study programme called Pedagogical Studies for Adult Educators. This article discusses social dynamics of higher education which is one of the most crucial but neglected perspectives in comparative studies of higher education. We pay attention to the importance of time, space and contexts—both geographical and socio-cultural ones—to reveal how they influence on different social dynamics in various systems of higher education. The article focuses on the national higher education system level.
