The article deals with the inventory of 1763 of the giogali owned by the knight of Saint John Fra' Alessio di Ferro, which is located in the State Archives in Trapani. In particular, these are some notes relating to the silver items in his possession. Alessio di Ferro was an illustrious exponent of one of the most prominent families in the centuries of the city of Trapani linked to the island of Malta.

This paper explores the evolution of the psychological foundation of institutional economics between the early XXc and the 1940s. The first part deals with the rise and fall of instinct psychology. Inspired by Veblen's taxonomy of instinctive behavior, several American economists attempted to build a viable alternative to psychological hedonism of neoclassical economics then only at its infancy. In this debate we show how instinct theory came to be applied to the field now as industrial psychology. In the medieval cemetery of the Historic Site of San Juan del Hospital of Valencia is housed a small funeral chapel founded in the late thirteenth century by the knight Arnau de Romaní. Along its cornice there are a series of heads of animals and humans that are one of the few sculptural vestiges inserted into the Romanesque iconographic tradition that are preserved in the city. Del caballero épico al caballero novelesco: acercamiento a la evolución del personaje

En este artículo se revisarán las paulatinas transformaciones que sufrió el caballero literario medieval a partir de su nacimiento en la canción de gesta y hasta su consolidación como personaje protagonista de las obras más representativas de la novela de caballerías medieval. Partiendo de la configuración del caballero épico románico, se analizan las características que se le van agregando a partir de los romans de materia clásica, como el interés amoroso, para convertirlo en un personaje novelesco y ya plenamente cortés en Chrétien de Troyes. Se llega hasta la prosa de ficción del siglo XIII, en la que se acaba de redondear la figura con los rasgos aportados por la religión y la ideología.

On the 28th of August of 1612, Juan Vivas de Canamas, the ambassador of king Philip III in Genoa, commissioned the Genoese sculptor Giuseppe Carlone to carve a large statue made of Polveracio white marble representing, according to the drawing attached to the contract, the figure of a knight. The portrait depicts none other than the Duke of Lerma, whose marble effigy was intended to preside in his castle and palace of the Valencian city of Denia and was installed there at the end of 1613. This paper critically examines Geoffrey Hodgson's recent provocative claim about Frank Knight as being a member of American institutionalism in the interwar years. In the first section of the paper the authors attempt to provide a definition of institutionalism and to emphasize its meaning from a historiographic point of view. Dynamiczna metoda przesunięć udziałów uwzględnia zmienność wag w kolejnych okresach. Metoda ta została zaproponowana w 1988 przez Barffa i Knighta. Ideą metody jest przeprowadzenie w sposób rekurencyjny obliczeń dla każdych dwóch kolejnych okresów, aby ostatecznie dokonać agregacji wyników cząstkowych. Dodatkowo metoda ta pozwala na określenie tendencji w zakresie przemian gospodarki regionalnej. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie analizy składników zmiany i możliwości jej wykorzystania do diagnostyki potencjału produkcyjnego rolnictwa regionu, a w szczególności wskazanie obiektów wyspecjalizowanych oraz charakteru zmian strukturalnych w zakresie badanego zjawiska.
