Tēma: “Faktori, kuri ietekmē piedalīšanos Eiropas Parlamenta, Saeimas un Rīgas pašvaldības vēlēšanās”. Problēma: zema līdzdalība minētajās vēlēšanās. Maģistra darba “Parlamenta ietekmes pār izpildvaru attīstība. Latvijas gadījums” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā kopš Latvijas Republikas neatkarības atjaunošanas ir mainījusies likumdevēja ietekme pār izpildvaru. Tā kā komisijas ieņem centrālo vietu parlamentā, parlamentārā ietekme tiks noteikts caur komisiju darbu Latvijas Republikas Saeimā. Darba empīriskā daļa ir balstīta padziļināto interviju ar Saeimas komisiju pārstāvjiem analīzē un divu politisko jomu kvantitatīvajā analīzē.

Desmin, the intermediate filament protein of skeletal muscle fibers, cardiac myocytes, and certain smooth muscle cells, is a member of the cytoskeleton linking Z-bands with the plasmalemma and the nucleus. The pathology of desmin in human neuromuscular disorders is always marked by increased amounts, diffusely or focally. Desmin is highly expressed in immature muscle fibers, both during fetal life and regeneration as well as in certain congenital myopathies, together with vimentin. Desmin is also enriched in neonatal myotonic dystrophy and small fibers in infantile spinal muscular atrophy. The identification and localization of two intermediate filament proteins in the tunic of Styela plicata (Tunicata, Styelidae).

The intermediate filament (IF) proteins Styela C and Styela D from the tunicate Styela (Urochordata) are co-expressed in all epidermal cells and they are thought to behave as type I and type II keratins. These two IF proteins, Styela C and Styela D, were identified in immunoblots of proteins isolated from the tunic of Styela plicata. The occurrence and distribution of these proteins within the tunic of this ascidian was examined by means of immunofluorescence and immunoperoxidase techniques, using anti-Styela C and anti-Styela D antibodies. In several organisms from protists to plants the joining of chloroplasts to the nucleus has been mentioned as a phenomenon [1–3]. Seminomas and non-seminomatous testicular germ cell tumours were studied for the presence of cytokeratin and vimentin filaments and desmosomes using immunohistochemical methods. In the majority of the classical seminomas and in seminomatous areas of mixed tumours most tumour cells appeared to lack cytokeratin filaments. Some seminomas contained a focally variable proportion of cells exhibiting cytokeratin-positive structures while other cases contained only few seminoma cells with a well developed fibrillar cytokeratin network. Deputātu ietekme parlamentārajā darbā tiek pētīta salīdzinoši nesen. Šobrīd ir pieejami tikai divi modeļi ar kuriem ir iespējams noteikt deputātu ietekmi Eiropas Parlamentā, bet neviens no tiem nav mēģinājis skaidrot, kāpēc deputāts ir ietekmīgs un kuri faktori ir par to ir atbildīgi. Balstoties uz teorētisko literatūru, kurā tiek pētīti dažādi Eiropas Parlamenta deputātu fona faktori, tiek prognozēts ietekmīga deputāta profils. Šī darba tēma ir “Baltijas valstu deputātu ietekmes modelis Eiropas Parlamentā”. In the run-up to the elections to the European Parliament in 2014, EU citizens had the unprecedented opportunity to watch televised debates between the candidates running for president of the European Commission. The most important debate was the so-called "Eurovision debate", which was broadcasted in almost all EU member states. In this study we explore the responses of a sample of 110 young German voters, who watched this debate, to the candidates' messages and whether exposure to the debate caused a shift in the respondents' attitudes towards the EU.
