The aim of this chapter is to examine how the uncertainty and instability of working life is reflected in Finnish polytechnic graduates’ employment. The present study investigates the fields of business and engineering by comparing two graduate cohorts. The societal context in which new graduates enter working life is that of an increasing precariousness in the labour market, which affects higher education graduates as well as the general population. Nowadays, a higher education qualification is not necessarily a guaranteed path to a high income and high social status as it used to be. Un projet immobilier de réhabilitation de l’îlot du prieuré Saint-Pierre (dépendance de l’abbaye Saint-Claude dans le Jura), accolé à l’église éponyme, au NO de la ville ancienne de Bar-sur-Aube, a entraîné la prescription d’un diagnostic archéologique sur les deux « cours » concernées par le projet et sur une analyse du potentiel archéologique conservé en élévation. Ce diagnostic a montré d’importants aménagements médiévaux encore conservés au sein du prieuré Saint-Pierre dont la création est antérieure au milieu du XIIe s., tant dans les élévations que dans les données stratigraphiques. Participation in leisure sports is undergoing a transformation that is guided by societal and cultural changes as well as recent developments in, and the use of, digital sports media and technologies. This paper discusses how changes in leisure sports participation can be understood using mediatization as a theoretical framework. This theoretically informed analysis of change is contextualized within Finnish climbing and trail running subcultures. The paper proposes that mediatization contributes to the diversification of the sporting landscape, enables fluidity in sports communities, and strengthens commercialization of leisure sports.
