SPA centru tēls to tīmekļa vietnēs: žanra un multimodālā analīze

Lai klients būtu ieinteresēts turpmākā saziņā ar uzņēmumu, ir svarīgi radīt neaizmirstamu pirmo iespaidu, kas ir viena no mājaslapas funkcijām. Šī pētījuma mērķis bija raksturot sešas SPA centru mājaslapas. Lai sasniegtu šī pētījuma mērķi, tika izvēlēta uz korpusu balstīta pieeja, kas ietvēra Beitmena (Bateman) (2008) izstrādāto žanra un multimodālo (GeM) modeli un Suena (Suen) (2009) piecu soļu modeli, kas tika izmantots mājaslapas izkārtojuma un retoriskās struktūras analīzei. Designing a graphics processing unit accelerated petaflop capable lattice Boltzmann solver: Read aligned data layouts and asynchronous communication

The lattice Boltzmann method is a well-established numerical approach for complex fluid flow simulations. Recently, general-purpose graphics processing units (GPUs) have become available as high-performance computing resources at large scale. We report on designing and implementing a lattice Boltzmann solver for multi-GPU systems that achieves 1.79 PFLOPS performance on 16,384 GPUs. To achieve this performance, we introduce a GPU compatible version of the so-called bundle data layout and eliminate the halo sites in order to improve data access alignment. The facility layout problem approached using a fuzzy model and a genetic search

The problem of facility layout design is discussed, taking into account the uncertainty of production scenarios and the finite production capacity of the departments. The uncertain production demand is modelled by a fuzzy number, and constrained arithmetic operators are used in order to calculate the fuzzy material handling costs. By using a ranking criterion, the layout that represents the minimum fuzzy cost is selected. Abstract Classical approaches to layout design problem tend to maximise the efficiency of layout, measured by the handling cost related to the interdepartmental flow and to the distance among the departments. L’articolo analizza i reali comportamenti di acquisto dell’acquirente all’interno del punto vendita e individua i pattern latenti più significativi attraverso un’analisi di affinità di 128.364 scontrini estratti da un dataset di 715.662 transazioni effettuate in un anno. A coded mask for γ-ray astronomy. Design and calibration

Abstract The high-resolution γ-ray spectrometer (SPI) is one of the two main instruments on board the ESA INTEGRAL satellite successfully launched in October 2002. SPI uses coded aperture mask technique in order to have imaging capabilities at the energy band (20 keV–8 MeV) it will study celestial sources. The SPI imaging performance depends critically on the quality of the coded mask response and also on the precise knowledge of such response function.
