Kirjallisuuden hyödyntäminen kieltenopetuksessa Suomessa on ollut suhteellisen vähäistä. Kirjallisuuden käyttö kielten opetuksessa tarjoaa kuitenkin enemmän hyötyjä kuin haasteita. Kielen oppimisen lisäksi kirjallisuuden käytöllä voidaan edistää laajempia opetussuunnitelman mukaisia tavoitteita esimerkiksi ihmisenä kasvua. Uusi opetussuunnitelma velvoittaa kehittämään oppilaiden monilukutaitoa eri oppiaineissa, joten se mahdollistaa myös kirjallisuuden käytön kieltenopetuksessa. Dynamic Usage-based Principles in the Development of L2 Finnish Evaluative Constructions

Abstract This study investigates the formal verbalizations of evaluation used by four beginning L2 learners of Finnish from a dynamic usage-based perspective. Longitudinal data collected weekly were used to investigate what kind of constructions learners use to express evaluation and how these interact and develop over time. The results show that when a new construction is acquired in the L2, another related construction might regress. The results also point to increased variability in the construction during a phase of rapid development and reduced variability in the phases of regression or slower progress. A number of studies have shown that learners’ beliefs about the usefulness of corrective feedback for improving their L2 (a second or a foreign language) use influences the extent to which learners can utilize that same feedback. It seems, then, that changing some of these beliefs could benefit the L2 learning process. Artikkelissa käsitellään oppimisympäristön vaikutusta astemääritteiden käyttöön. Astemääritteet ovat jonkin ominaisuuden asteen suurta, kohtalaista tai vähäistä määrää ilmaisevia, pragmaattista merkitystä kantavia adverbeja (esim. melko, hyvin, tosi). Oppimisympäristön vaikutusta käsitellään artikkelissa korpusten avulla. Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt kā tiešsaistes uzdevumi ietekmē angļu valodas vārdu krājuma apguvi sākumskolā. Diplomdarba autore uzskata, ka vārdu krājuma apguve ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem valodas aspektiem, kam ir liela nozīme sākumskolas skolēnu mācīšanā. Diplomdarba mērķa sasniegšanai darba autore izvēlējas atsevišķa gadījuma pētījuma metodi. Metodes, kas tika izmantotas datu vākšanā, ir anketēšana, priekšpārbaude un pēcpārbaude.
