Mitä oppilaat pitävät varhaisesta A1-kielen opetuksesta ja millainen käsitys heillä on omasta osaamisestaan?

Vuoden 2020 alusta kieltenopiskelu on aloitettu Suomessa vuosiluokalla 1. Opetussuunnitelman perusteissa korostetaan, että opetuksen tulee olla ikätasolle sopivaa ja herättää myönteinen asenne kielenoppimiseen sekä vahvistaa oppilaan pystyvyyttä. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan suomen- ja ruotsinkielisten koulujen oppilaiden asennoitumista ja osaamiskäsityksiä. Tutkimuksen kohteen on englannin kielen (suomenkieliset koulut, n=106) ja suomi toisena kotimaisena kielenä -oppiaineen (ruotsinkieliset koulut, n=86) opiskelu. Effect of a dominant-negative form of ADAM10 in a mouse model of Alzheimer's disease.

The alpha-secretase cleaves in the non-amyloidogenic pathway the amyloid-beta protein precursor (AbetaPP) within the region of the amyloid-beta peptides to prevent their formation and aggregation in the brain. Members of the ADAM family (a disintegrin and metalloprotease) are the main candidates for physiologically relevant alpha-secretases. We recently demonstrated that overexpression of ADAM10 in mice transgenic for human AbetaPP (ADAM10 x APP[V717I]) alleviated functional deficits related to Alzheimer's disease. En una primera parte se presentan algunas lógicas o dimensiones sociales desde la perspectiva de la educación a lo largo de la vida. Predictive distributions that mimic frequencies over a restricted subdomain

A predictive distribution over a sequence of $$N+1$$ events is said to be “frequency mimicking” whenever the probability for the final event conditioned on the outcome of the first N events equals the relative frequency of successes among them. Exchangeable distributions that exhibit this feature universally are known to have several annoying concomitant properties. We motivate frequency mimicking assertions over a limited subdomain in practical problems of finite inference, and we identify their computable coherent implications. Machine learning of microbial interactions using abductive ILP and hypothesis frequency/compression estimation

Interaction between species in microbial communities plays an important role in the functioning of all ecosystems, from cropland soils to human gut microbiota. Many statistical approaches have been proposed to infer these interactions from microbial abundance information. However, these statistical approaches have no general mechanisms for incorporating existing ecological knowledge in the inference process. This chapter focuses on a Second Language Acquisition (SLA) study conducted in virtual worlds that could help teachers in terms of knowledge about acquisition processes, in which technology is integration between formal and non formal education. The article deals with two issues: How do teachers promote participation in a preschool classroom as compared with a primary school classroom? What similarities and differences are found?
