The aim of this study was to replicate the study of Waber, Wolff, Forbes, and Weiler (2000), in which the specificity of naming speed deficits (NSD) to reading disability (RD) was examined. 193 children (ages 8 to 11) referred to a child neuropsychological clinic for evaluation of learning disabilities were studied. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) was used to determine how well rapid automatized naming (RAN) discriminated different diagnostic groups (learning impaired (LI) with and without RD) from control and from each other. This study tests whether advanced data processing techniques are capable of classifying Euribor panel banks as either manipulating or non-manipulating on the basis of patterns found in quotes submissions. Several studies have demonstrated that transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a form of non-invasive brain stimulation, can be combined with training to mitigate age-related cognitive and motor declines. This study set out to explore the cognitive and linguistic correlates of orthographic learning in a group of 32 deaf and hard of hearing children with cochlear implants, to better understand the factors that affect the development of fluent reading in these children. To date, the research about the mechanisms of reading fluency and orthographic learning in this population is scarce. International audience; Context-aware mobile learning is becoming important because of the dynamic and continually changing learning settings in learner's mobile environment, giving rise to many different learning contexts that are difficult to apprehend. To provide personalization of learning content, we aim to develop a recommender system based on semantic modeling of learning contents and learning context. This modeling is complemented by a behavioral part made up of rules and metaheuristics used to optimize the combination of pieces of learning contents according to learner's context. All these elements form a new approach to mobile learning.
