Repeatedly documented positive student responses to project-based learning during its decades-long tradition in CS attest to the effectiveness of learning by doing. Support for reflective learning nevertheless continues to be a topic worth studying because the intensity of project work together with a high technical orientation among CS students often complicate reflective practice. Often simplicity is interpreted as reductionism, which compromises both the affective nature of the design and usability itself. Synchronization of hidden chaotic attractors on the example of radiophysical oscillators

In the present paper we consider the problem of synchronization of hidden and self-excited attractors in the context of application to a system of secure communication. The system of two coupled Chua models was studied. Complete synchronization was observed as for self-excited, as hidden attractors. Beside it for hidden attractors some special type of dynamic was revealed.

Prakses robi.” Šie prakses robi mūsdienās ir ļoti aktuāli, jo vairums autoru savu intelektuālo jaunradi saista tieši ar peļņas gūšanu. Līdz ar to Latvijas likumdevējam normatīvajā regulējumā būtu beidzot jāizšķiras par vienotu sistēmu, kā un kādā apjomā autori saņemtu atlīdzību par savu ieguldījumu jaunrades procesā. Children with dyslexia tend to find reading stressful. Coping responses, such as task-focused and avoidant behaviours, can help mitigate the stress. Task-focused behaviour is associated with reading development, with others’ at-tributions of success and failure linked to task-focused behaviour.
