Consequences of unemployment on the mental health of a sample of Angolan youth

Entre los efectos del desempleo en la salud mental, destacan problemas de confianza, depresión y pérdida de recursos psicosociales. El objetivo es investigar las variables atenuantes del estrés sobre la salud mental en desempleados jóvenes angoleños mediante un modelo estructural con variables latentes. Se probaron los efectos del apoyo social, la resiliencia y las estrategias de afrontamiento sobre la salud mental, controlando por los efectos de ser económicamente suficiente. Para poner a prueba este modelo se ha contado con una muestra de 283 angoleños con edades comprendidas entre 18 y 30 años. El modelo se estimó en EQS 5.7. The huge wealth of properties that we have built in many years in our cities and peripheries, convinced that it was capable of generating value, today is largely degraded, underused or disused but it represents a stock of heritage that could be fundamental to feed a dynamic and flexible view of legacy capable to influence our design culture. The challenge presented is how to shift the development asset from real estate capitalization to a knowledge economy where disused assets are offered as common stocks and enabling platforms for collective actions.

Koncepcja resilience nie jest jednorodna i w artykule zaprezentowano różnorodne podejścia badawcze do tego zjawiska. Najogólniej resilience oznacza proces pozytywnej adaptacji dzieci i młodzieży narażonych na duże ryzyko, przeciwności losu lub zdarzenia traumatyczne. Koncepcja resilien ce akcentuje znaczenie czynników ryzyka i mechanizmów chroniących przed nimi w wieku rozwojowym. Może stanowić podstawę do opracowania programów profilaktyki niedostosowania społecznego oraz w pracy resocjalizacyjnej z dziećmi i młodzieżą wykazującymi zaburzenia zachowania.
Challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and design responses in public space: Towards strategies for resilient post-Covid cities

The Covid-19 pandemic triggered governments and designers to revalue and redesign public spaces. This paper focuses on the various design responses to Covid-19 proposed and implemented in public spaces. In particular, we identify the kinds of challenges that such design responses address and the strategies that they use. We selected 56 design examples, largely collected from internet sources. By analyzing the design examples we identified five Covid-related challenges that were addressed in public space: sustaining amenities, keeping a distance, feeling connected, staying mentally healthy, and expanding health infrastructures. Maģistra darbā tiek apskatīts tīmekļa ietvarā „GWTExt” esošās „BindingMap” tehnoloģijas sinhronizācijas problēmas starp klienta un servera pusēm, kā arī autora izveidotie risinājumi šai problēmai. Pirms šī darba izstrādes visi lietotnes formā esošie dati starp klienta izsaukumiem tika glabāti tikai klienta pusē, kas noveda gan pie ātrdarbības problēmām, pie katra izsaukuma sūtot visu datu kopu serverim, gan iespējamām drošības problēmām, lietotājam manipulējot ar pieejamo datu kopu. Tra i diversi e ricchi Tesori siciliani, indagati a partire dagli anni Trenta del secolo scorso da Maria Accascina, si inserisce quello, pressoché inedito, di San Mauro Castelverde.
