PurposeIn the healthcare management domain, there is a lack of knowledge concerning the role of resilience practices in improving patient safety. The purpose of this paper is to understand the capabilities that enable healthcare resilience and how digital technologies can support these capabilities.Design/methodology/approachWithin- and cross-case research methodology was used to study resilience mechanisms and capabilities in healthcare and to understand how digital health technologies impact healthcare resilience. Every learner has the right to acquire a good pronunciation, but unfortunately today, phonetics still plays a secondary role to grammar and vocabulary training in the classroom. Furthermore, it is primarily treated from an orthoepic point of view. This contribution presents a contrastive approach to phonetics. It explains why learners have a “foreign accent” and what contrastive pronunciation training should include as well as precisely what contrastive listening, contrastive background knowledge and contrastive exercises mean. It is limited to learners of German as a foreign language with Italian as their mother tongue.

Autora maģistra darba nosaukums ir “Kriminālsoda – piespiedu darbs – piemērošanas atbilstība krimināllikumā ietvertajam soda mērķim”. Kriminālsods – piespiedu darbs Latvijā tiek piemērots salīdzinoši nesen, t.i., astoņpadsmit gadus. 1999.gadā, Krimināllikumā ieviešot šo kriminālsoda veidu, Latvija vēlējās tuvoties Eiropas standartiem, kas bija tendēta uz alternatīva soda piemērošanu brīvības atņemšanai un personu, kuras izdarīja noziedzīgu nodarījumu, iesaistīšanu sabiedrībai lietderīgos darbos. espanolEsta investigacion busca analizar las variables implicadas en la conducta prosocial y la capacidad de esta para actuar como un factor protector frente a los problemas de adiccion al juego. Este estudio es de tipo cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal y correlacional. La muestra se compuso por 258 adultos jovenes universitarios (59.5% mujeres) con una edad media de 20.95 anos (DE= 2.19). Se aplicaron cuestionarios (Brief Resilient Coping Scale, cuestionario de apoyo social, Escala de Prosocialidad y South Oaks Gambling Screen) para medir las variables implicadas y realizo un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales. Abstract This paper considers the education of the labour force based on an analysis of trends in and the relationships between job polarization and skills mismatch. Both job polarization and skills mismatch have become topics of increasing interest, but relationships between the two have been relatively neglected in the literature. We argue that the relationship between polarization and skills mismatch is an empirical matter, which we analyse at both the macroeconomic and microeconomic level in European countries. Based on the concept of labour market resilience, this paper is aimed to determine the combination of initial conditions behind resilient and non-resilient labour markets after the financial crisis in 2008 in Europe. We start from the assumption that some initial conditions in 2007 are crucial to achieve a specific labour result when a shock appears. In larvae of Rana temporaria and Bufo bufo the location of filter apparatus within the larval organization, the arrangement of the morphological parts as branchial food trap, ventral velum, and filter rows, as well as their surface anatomy, are similar to that of other species of Orton's larval type IV. The means by which mucous with its entrapped food particles is transported from the filter rows to the esophagus is finally resolved. The dorsally positioned ciliary cushion extends far ventrally between the filter plates.
