The Supranational Dimension in Max Weber’s Vision of Politics

Max Weber analyzed politics from the perspective of Chancen for actors, and he never separated world politics from domestic politics. The “Westphalian balance” between great European powers shaped Weber’s views on international polity. However, he also regarded Western individualism, human rights, and parliamentary democracy as necessary qualities to possess in order to be recognized as a great power. This vision provided the basis for his wartime critique of the expansionist tendencies in German foreign policy and for his demand for the parliamentarization of German politics. The article draws attention to the issues of symbolic functioning of the city which was formed of two different entities as a result of political and economic decisions. In the 20th century, the history of a traditional city got entwined with a modernistic industrial city which was taking shape. As a result, ideologies and politics impacted on the newly-established conurbation. The city denotes not only the material sphere, but also its urban community, which, in the case of the places under study, was basically historically complicated. Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek pētīts PSRS un nacistiskās Vācijas totalitāro režīmu simbolikas izmantošanas regulējums Latvijas Republikā. Darba teorētisko daļu veido dažādu autoru darbi par politisko simbolu nozīmēm politiskajā režīmā, kā arī par simbolu nozīmi organizāciju teorijā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā veidojies normatīvais regulējums, kas regulē PSRS un nacistiskās Vācijas totalitāro režīmu simbolu izmantošanu. Lai to darītu, tiks pētīti normatīvie akti, kas sevī ietver totalitāro režīmu simbolikas izmantošanas regulējumu, kā arī šo normatīvo aktu pieņemšanas process.

System demokratyczny daje obywatelom możliwość uczestniczenia w życiu publicznym na różnych płaszczyznach. Inicjatywa ludowa, jako narzędzie demokracji bezpośredniej, pozwala ogółowi obywateli podejmować decyzje państwowe w sposób bezpośredni. Włosi uzyskali wraz z nową konstytucją, która weszła w życie 22 grudnia 1947 r. Ponadto konstytucja zagwarantowała prawa obywatelskie, rozbudowała kompetencje samorządu terytorialnego, zinstytucjonalizowała rolę partii politycznych, czy wprowadziła instytucję Trybunału Konstytucyjnego.
