Tämän tutkimuksen tehtävänä on selvittää vuonna 2013 valmistuneiden AMK-insinöörien työuran alkuvaiheita. Tavoitteena on tuottaa tietoa työllistymisestä, työpreferensseistä ja preferenssien taustalla olevista tekijöistä. Tutkimus on kvantitatiivinen sekundäärianalyysi, joka pohjautuu Insinööriliiton toimesta kesällä 2014 tekemääni vastavalmistuneiden sijoittumistutkimukseen. Tutkimuksen perusjoukon muodostavat kyselyhetkellä Insinööriliittoon (IL) ja diftingenjörsförbundet i Finland:iin (DIFF) kuuluneet, vuonna 2013 valmistuneet insinöörit. Tämä tutkimus tarkastelee ammattikasvattajien kokemuksia ja käsityksiä lasten välisestä fyysisestä väkivallasta varhaiskasvatusympäristössä. Tutkimuksen kohteena ovat kasvattajien väkivallan selitykset ja se, millaisia merkityksiä lasten sukupuoli tuottaa tässä kontekstissa. Toteutin tutkimuksen teemahaastattelemalla viittä ammattikasvattajaa. Aineiston analyysi on fenomenologinen aineistolähtöinen sisällönanalyysi. Ammattikasvattajien omat väkivallan selitysmallit liittyivät heidän tapaansa nähdä, tulkita, sallia ja rajoittaa väkivaltatilanteita. The present five-year longitudinal study from preschool to grade 3 examined the developmental associations among oral language comprehension, task orientation, reading precursors, and reading fluency, as well as their role in predicting grade 3 reading comprehension. Ninety Finnish-speaking students participated in the study. The students’ oral language comprehension (vocabulary knowledge, listening comprehension, and inference making) and task orientation were assessed in preschool, kindergarten, and grade 3. In their article, Marta Chyb-Winnicka and Anna Tabisz present a taxonomic approach to the teaching of listening and speaking skills in lessons of Polish as a native language. The authors show that the 2017 provisions of the core curriculum for the Polish language in primary schools in Poland put special emphasis on the development of reading and writing skills. For this reason, Chyb-Winnicka and Tabisz underline the importance of teaching the two other skills, i.e., listening and speaking, and argue that taxonomic categories should be used to systematize the knowledge of these skills.

This qualitative interview study focuses on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) teacher agency in three European contexts, Austria, Finland and Andalusia, Spain. The aim of the study is to understand how individual CLIL teachers experience their agency when encountering challenges in their work and to demonstrate the multifaceted quality of their agency. The study employs the Listening Guide method (Gilligan, 2015) to listen to the voices of three secondary school subject teachers from three diverse contexts. Scaffolding through dialogic teaching in early school classrooms

The present study examines what types of dialogic teaching patterns can be identified in the early school years, and how teachers scaffold children's participation and shared understanding through dialogic teaching. Thirty recorded lessons from preschool to Grade 2 in Finnish classrooms were analysed using qualitative content analysis. Two teacher-initiated and two child-initiated dialogic teaching patterns were identified. Teacher's scaffolding in teacher-initiated dialogues was characterised by high responsibility in maintaining the interactional flow and utilisation of diverse strategies. Injury and Throwing Distance in Teenage Cyclist- Vehicle Crash

The study of the injury caused by vehicle-teenage cyclist crash is presented in this paper. The results of the crash with three vehicles: sedan, SUV and Pick up are compared. Three different positions are analyzed: front, rear and lateral position. The injury on the cyclist head is examined by HIC criterion, in the way indicated by the rules. A comparison is done between the results of the simulations for Pick up, SUV and sedan, concluding that the injury of the head is more dangerous for Pick-up impact than SUV or the sedan, but only at greater speed than 40 km/h. HIC evaluation in teenage cyclist – SUV accident

The study of the crash between normal sedan and teenage cyclist was examined in previous paper, and is here continued analyzing the influence of the front part of the vehicle in the injury caused by the accident. The vehicle is a SUV, with high frontal part. No variation is executed on the model of the teenage cyclist and the bike. The position of the teenage cyclist regard to SUV is the same: three different positions are analyzed: front, rear and lateral position.
