Love Wins : A Love Lens Approach to Cultivation of Organization-Stakeholder Relationships
2020
This chapter adds to emerging research exploring the construct of joy by drawing attention to the value of more loving stakeholder relationships. Relationship management research has focussed attention on the antecedents, outcomes and quality of an organization’s relationships with various publics and stakeholders and has examined strategies that can nurture these relationships. However, not much of this research has addressed intimacy and passion in these relationships. Accordingly, this chapter draws on the theory of brand love developed in relationship marketing research and the theory of love from psychological research to build a theoretical framework of organization–stakeholder love (…

Trifolium – nieformalne porozumienie senatorów koronnych z lat trzydziestych XVII w
2020
Część historyków kwestionuje polityczne znaczenie trifolium — trójlistnej koniczyny, nieformalnego porozumienia senatorów koronnych, w którego skład wchodzili: kanclerz Jakub Zadzik, biskup chełmiński, hetman Stanisław Koniecpolski i Stanisław Lubomirski, wojewoda ruski.
Practices of Planning as a Reflection of Teaching and Learning Concepts in ECEC : The Cases of Finland and Slovenia
2022
The aim of this study was to identify pedagogical planning practices and thus recognise the prevailing teaching and learning concepts in ECEC in Finland and Slovenia. Pedagogical planning is one of the key elements of quality for ECEC in both countries. The study followed a qualitative paradigm. Data were collected by carrying out semi-structured thematic interviews with ECEC teachers in Finland and Slovenia and analysed using content analysis. Regarding the planning practices, the results show that ECEC teachers (i) mostly plan in teams or tandems and (ii) consider the curriculum, that is, the ECEC national document, as well as the children’s voices, in planning. Through an analysis of ped…
Data from: Deceiving predators: linking distraction behavior with nest survival in a ground-nesting bird
2016
Individual behavior that minimizes predation risk is favored by natural selection. Ground-nesting birds employ different defensive behaviors as part of their antipredator strategies because they nest where a wide range of predators have access. We investigated the influence of distraction displays on breeding success in the Kentish Plover, Charadrius alexandrinus, in order to explore the role of the defensive behavior on nest survival. We quantified the intensity of defensive behavior of adult plovers in response to nest disturbance caused by an approaching researcher, by ranking display types according to the intensity and exposure to predation. We also examined sex differences in nest def…

Amor y misoginia. A propósito de "amor fou" de Marta Sanz
2019

2019
Repeated memories and recollections found in the works by Marguerite Duras, referring to the writer’s biography, constantly expose the presence of the Other. One of the favorite motifs is the figure of a lover who returns in different incarnations in subsequent songs. Identified with unrequited love, lust, ecstasy, madness, pain, loss, lover’s scandal, the lover becomes a myth. The relationship with him leads to the discovery of the unknown, the territory of his own “I”, which sometimes includes traumatic experiences, transgression of prohibitions and even incestuous love. The lover’s theme becomes a kind of phantasm, constituting a narrative subject or model that determines the functioning…
Sławomira Mrożka "Miłość na Krymie" w inscenizacji Jerzego Jarockiego
2015
In my article I present a spectacle of a director who, as one of many theatre artists, was able to connect interests of literature with historiosophy included in works worth to present on a stage. It was an excellent performer of the Polish theatre – Jerzy Jarocki – who died in 2012. The artist was fascinated with Russian history which bloomed during his studies on Russian Academy of Theatre Arts – one of the biggest theatre schools in the world. A few years in Moscow made him aware of complicated past of the Russian empire and let to know not only theatre events of this country. Thus, he mentioned this topic in his spectacles. What is essential, Jarocki, as one of the first directors in Po…
