This article considers touch as an embodied worlding practice in the context of humans intentionally seeking tactile trans-species contact. In particular, it examines three co-researchers’ tactile relations with tree(s) and water which were explored by “touch-walking,” an immersive method developed for this study. The method opened possibilities for examining transcorporeal sensory matterings and affective flows between the researcher’s body, co-researchers’ bodies and more-than-human bodies. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli tarkastella esimiehen ja nuoren alaisen vuorovaikutussuhteen läheisyyden kytkeytymistä vallankäyttöön esimies-alaissuhteessa. Tutkimus tehtiin alaisten näkökulmasta. Tutkielmassa pyrittiin selvittämään millaisia kokemuksia ja käsityksiä nuorilla työntekijöillä on läheisyydestä ja vallasta esimies-alaissuhteessa. Lisäksi haluttiin selvittää, miten vuorovaikutussuhteen läheisyyden aste heidän käsitystensä ja kokemustensa mukaan liittyy esimies-alaissuhteessa ilmenevään valtaan ja vallankäyttöön. Tässä tutkielmassa tarkastellaan verkko-opetuksen työelämäläheistä suunnittelua, asiantuntijayhteistyötä virtuaalisessa oppimisyhteisössä (VLC) sekä näihin liittyviä erilaisia teknisiä ratkaisuja. Tutkielman tarkoituksena on kuvailla Tulevaisuuden eOppia-projektissa toteutettua verkko-opintojaksojen työelämäläheistä uudistamisprosessia, sen teknistä toteuttamista sekä kuvata sitä miten Lewisin ja Allanin (2005) teoriasta voidaan löytää yhtymäkohtia uudistamisprosessin malliin. Loudness Perceptions Influence Feelings of Interpersonal Closeness and Protect Against Detrimental Psychological Effects of Social Exclusion

We propose that perceptions of auditory loudness and interpersonal closeness are bidirectionally related. Across 12 experiments (total N = 2,219; 10 preregistered; with Singaporean, British, U.S. American, and Australian participants), we demonstrated that louder audio made people feel physically (Study 1a) and socially (Study 1b) closer to others, presumably because loudness activates interpersonal closeness-related concepts implicitly (Studies 1c and 1d). Student–teacher relationships are crucial for adolescents’ adjustment in the school context. The aim of the present study was to examine the role of teacher closeness in academic emotions and achievement among adolescents with and without learning difficulties during the first year in lower secondary school. Students’ learning difficulties (LDs) were identified based on tested reading and math skills. In addition, students evaluated their teacher relationships and rated academic emotions in literacy and math domains.
