Project: EMAC-MADE3 uncoupled - Recently, the aerosol microphysics submodel MADE3 was introduced as a successor to MADE and MADE-in. It includes nine aerosol species and nine lognormal modes to represent aerosol particles of three different mixing states throughout the aeroso size spectrum. The essay analyses civil liability insurance contracts based on claims made and the tormented evolution of the related jurisprudence. The Author criticizes the position of the jurisprudence, especially with reference to the recent judgment of the Sezioni Unite no.22437 of 2018. Upon examination of the reasons given to support the validity of this type of contract, the Author comes to the conclusion that the latter should be considered void in both versions: pure and impure claims made. The essay analyses civil liability insurance contracts based on claims made and the tormented evolution of the related jurisprudence. The Author criticizes the position of the jurisprudence, especially with reference to the recent judgment of the Sezioni Unite no. 22437 of 2018. The examination widens to the reckless attempt of the Sezioni Unite to subordinate the validity of these contracts to a judgment of adequacy imbedded in the context of the judgment on the cause of the contractand destined, in case of negative outcome, to allow the judge to redetermine the content of the contract, using the remedy of partial nullity pursuant to Article 1419 of the civil code, in a rebalancing effort.

Aquest treball conté una col·lecció de cartes trameses pel Consell de la ciutat de València, cent quaranta-dos regests i quinze transcripcions íntegres, corresponents al primer trimestre de l’any polític de 1374-75, és a dir, del 23 de maig al 20 d’agost de 1374, un total de quaranta-nou folis, la primera mà del volum G³-3 del fons documental "Lletres missives" de l’Arxiu Municipal de València. A més, s’ha fet un estudi teòric sobre el Consell, l’escrivania i les cartes, així com del contingut d’aquestes. També s’ha fet una llista de destinataris.

Study and restoration of a wooden Crucifix in the Monastery of S. Caterina D’Alessandria in Palermo, Italy

This article presents the analyses and work on the iconographic subject related to a wooden crucifix of an unknown author from the S. Caterina monastery, from the first half of the 17th century. This study focuses on the stylistic comparison between this artefact and others crucifixes of the same historical period. Alongside, an in-depth description of its conservative history and restoration work on the artefact is reported

In spinal surgery, 3D prothesis represents a useful instrument for spinal reconstruction after the removal of spinal tumors that require an “en bloc” resection.
