Pētījumi par laikrakstiem un ciešamo kārtu ir tikuši veikti, taču ne plaši. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis bija analizēt ciešamās kārtas lietojumu laikrakstu rakstos, kurus publicējuši lielākie britu tiešsaistes laikraksti – Daily Mail, The Sun, Evening Standard un Metro. Lai pētītu ciešamās kārtas lietojumu izvēlētajos laikrakstos, ir veikts literatūras pārskats, satura analīze, un saskaitīts sastopamības biežums. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda, ka ciešamā kārta visbiežāk tika lietota The Sun un Daily Mail laikrakstos; tika atrasti astoņi ciešamās kārtas laiki, no kuriem visbiežāk tika lietoti vienkāršās pagātnes un vienkāršās tagadnes laiki. Benchmarking is conducted in homogeneous and heterogeneous scenario layouts assuming realistic propagation data generated over Tokyo map.
