Abstract In this study, we develop mathematical educational practices for students to explore ancient buildings using GeoGebra, Augmented Reality and 3D printing. It is an interdisciplinary approach, intertwining history, culture, mathematics, and engineering. For example, the 3D modelling of Cheomseongdae in Korea and the Temple of Dendera in Egypt can enable students to practice a multimodal set of traditional and innovative learning approaches. Students might use their mathematical knowledge to reflect on architectural and cultural history in a modeling task.

However, previous research has not investigated whether indoor air problems influence the social climate of schools. An interactive version of the inverse modeling based multiobjective evolutionary algorithm is presented. Instead of generating a representation of the whole Pareto optimal front, the algorithm aims at producing solutions in the regions where the decision maker is interested in. This is facilitated through an interactive solution process where the decision maker iteratively evaluates a set of solutions shown to her/him and the preference information obtained is used to adapt the search process of the algorithm. peerReviewed

Purpose: To eliminate or reduce the error to Pareto optimality that arises in Pareto surface navigation when the Pareto surface is approximated by a small number of plans. Methods: The authors propose to project the navigated plan onto the Pareto surface as a postprocessing step to the navigation. The projection attempts to find a Pareto optimal plan that is at least as good as or better than the initial navigated plan with respect to all objective functions.
