Financial theory indicates that banks dependent on external resources and/or financially fragile have more difficulties in refinancing their operations of credit supply, due to the informational problems they face and/or they cause. In this context, this study tests the hypothesis that the mandatory adoption by banks of the IAS/IFRS accounting standards, known to be of higher quality, leads to an increase in the quantity of loans granted by banks constrained in liquidity, all else equal. Based on a sample of European banks, between 2003 and 2008, we obtain results in favour of this hypothesis.

However, the network effects of interacting with multiple agents on the evolution of the R&D role played by subsidiaries are still undeveloped. La Corte di Cassazione conferma il precedente orientamento favorevole a qualificare come vessatorie le clausole, pattuite nei contratti di mediazione, con le quali le agenzie immobiliari si assicurano il diritto alla provvigione anche in caso di mancata conclusione dell’affare. La soluzione avallata dalla Corte – che nello specifico, per il caso di recesso del venditore, commina la nullita` consumeristica alla clausola con cui il mediatore ottenga un compenso, a prescindere da una commisurazione all’attivita` svolta – si espone, tuttavia, al rischio di traghettare il giudizio di vessatorieta` sulla sponda di un inammissibile sindacato sull’equilibrio economico dello scambio.

Such systems should provide tools to protect their own resources from illegal accesses by unauthorized users. Abstract The concept of supporting meetings at the same time and at the same place with computers raises the problem of how salient features of group behaviors are understood in meetings. In this paper we critically examine some aspects of meeting behaviors. We point out that the idea of small, cohesive business teams is not necessarily a valid starting point in thinking of all meeting support.
