Style and Values – a Case Study of Theologian’s Lectures
2018
The aim of the paper is to analyse the stylistic methods Krzysztof Grzywocz uses in talking about values in his lectures published in the book W duchu i przyjaźni [In spirit and friendship]. It is the whole book, six hundred pages of his collected works, but in particular the one-hundred-page long chapter entitled “The Value of a Human Being”, which is the focus of this paper. The multilayer and interdisciplinary approach to values could be observed in those texts. He answers the questions what…

By acknowledging the importance of culture in mind, rarious traditions of conversation research were critically reviewed. It was proposed that conversation is a distributed cognitive system, and the nature of conversation meaning was …
Post-it
2020
The history of the invention of post-it, the famous small piece of yellow paper with a re-adherable strip of glue, help us see how designing can be a way of redesigning more than a creation ex nihilo. A designer is who works on the meaning of things, focusing on the relations an artifact creates with humans and non humans. Standing in front of an object, then, the question changes: not what is design but when.
