Šajā maģistra darbā galvenā uzmanība tiek pievērta īpatnībām un problēmas, tulkojot tūrisma tekstus no angļu valodas latviešu valodā. Šā darba mērķis bija pētīt īpatnības un iespējamās problēmas, kas varētu parādīties tulkojot Dorling Kindersley (DK) tūrisma ceļvežus Great Britain un Lielbritānija, kā arī Small Luxury Hotels of the Wolrd (SLH) portfolio. Lai rastu atbildes uz galvenajiem pētījuma jautājumiem un apstiprinātu hipotēzi, tika izmantota kvalitatīvā pētījuma metode un veikta DK tūrisma ceļvežu un SLH viesnīcu aprakstoša analīze. As they become more ubiquitous, their potential negative impacts also become evident through various real-world incidents. Following such early incidents, academic and public discussion on AI ethics has highlighted the need for implementing ethics in AI system development. Double copies of blaKPC-3::Tn4401a on an IncX3 plasmid in Klebsiella pneumoniae successful clone ST512 from Italy

ABSTRACT A carbapenem-resistant sequence type 512 (ST512) Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase 3 (KPC-3)-producing K. pneumoniae strain showing a novel variant plasmid content was isolated in Palermo, Italy, in 2014. ST512 is a worldwide successful clone associated with the spread of bla KPC genes located on the IncFIIk pKpQIL plasmid. In our ST512 strain, the bla KPC-3 gene was unusually located on an IncX3 plasmid, whose complete sequence was determined. Two copies of bla KPC-3 ::Tn 4401a caused by intramolecular transposition events were detected in the plasmid.

Background and purpose: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease with limited treatment options. RNS60 is an immunomodulatory and neuroprotective investigational product that has shown efficacy in animal models of ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. Its administration has been safe and well tolerated in ALS subjects in previous early phase trials. Pytanie o „starą" i „nową" polonistykę szkolną jest wciąż aktualne. Pojawia się w wielu dyskusjach na temat polonistycznego kształcenia. Namysł nad nim prowadzi do kilku spostrzeżeń: uczenie literatury, uczenie odbioru tekstu zasadza się na wartościach stałych i niezbywalnych; jest procesem; stwarza czytelnika, ale przede wszystkim człowieka. Cele formacyjne są ważne i nie da się ich zastąpić modnymi hasłami, tak jak nie da się odejść od rozumnego czytania, odbioru tekstu. The process of envisioning the future is central to teachers’ identity construction, but different environments create distinct sociocultural conditions for the process. This qualitative study drawing on visual-textual methods compares Finnish and Brazilian student teachers’ desired and feared professional futures. Two different perspectives on future identities were detected: a desire for status and a desire for meaningfulness. The results revealed the radically different social status of teaching in the two countries and the role this played in the envisioned identities. In this study, we aim to address these questions by examining product return behaviour from a consumer-centric rather than the more traditional product-centric, retailer-centric, and order-centric perspectives.
