Integrating concepts and techniques from ethnomethodology and sociomaterialism, this article investigates the observable material processes involving human action and place‐based contexts of language use enabled by locative media. The focal pedagogical intervention utilized mobile augmented reality (AR) activities, the development of which was inspired by research on learning ‘in the wild.’ Applying the principle of reverse engineering, we introduce a pedagogical approach termed ‘rewilding’ for its emphasis on designing supportive conditions for goal‐directed interaction outside of classrooms. Ettore Gabrici, who first excavated the structure located in the northwest corner of Solunto’s agora in 1920-21, identified the remains as part of a thermal bath, despite missing some of the key elements which usually characterize this type of buildings (hypocaust, praefurnium, heating pipes). After the re-examination of the architectural elements, this paper suggests a different interpretation which takes into account archaeological evidences from the broader Mediterranean context (especially from Sicily and the Punic world). Applying phenomenography in guidance and counselling research

This paper examines phenomenography as a viable qualitative approach in guidance and counselling research. A phenomenographic study maps the qualitatively different ways in which people experience a specific phenomenon and helps researchers to describe the aspects that make one way of experiencing a certain phenomenon qualitatively distinct from another. This paper presents an overview of phenomenographic research, encompassing theoretical, methodological and practical considerations. The application of this approach in guidance and counselling studies is illustrated with examples. peerReviewed

Las creencias epistemológicas en los estudiantes universitarios con los nuevos planes de estudios

Los cambios surgidos a partir del proceso de Bolonia, centrados en una nueva metodología que implica un alumno más activo, es esperable que influyan sobre las creencias epistemológicas. Para comprobar esto, comparamos dos grupos de una misma asignatura que cursaban licenciatura (441) y grado (336) y utilizamos el Cuestionario de creencias epistemológicas (EBS) de Wood y Kardash (2002: 249). Los resultados muestran que las creencias en ambos sistemas tienden a ser similares e ingenuas o simples, con puntuaciones ligeramente superiores en el grupo de licenciatura, contrario a lo esperado.
