Tässä artikkelissa tarjoamme autoetnografisen katsauksen kahteen soveltavaa kielentutkimusta ja korkeakoulututkimusta yhdistelevään tutkimusprojektiin, jotka molemmat olivat pitkän, osittain varsin fokuksettoman prosessin tulosta. Con programas como gvSIG, se pueden realizar estos estudios y georreferenciar unidades estratigráficas (UUEE), configurar la forma de estructuras o ubicar en el espacio las piezas arqueológicas encontradas, dotando de un significado más completo al trabajo de campo. Purpose This study aims to provide a response to the commentary by Yuan on the paper “Marketing or Methodology” in this issue of EJM. Design/methodology/approach Conceptual argument and statistical discussion. Findings The authors find that some of Yuan’s arguments are incorrect, or unclear. Further, rather than contradicting the authors’ conclusions, the material provided by Yuan in his commentary actually provides additional reasons to avoid partial least squares (PLS) in marketing research. As such, Yuan’s commentary is best understood as additional evidence speaking against the use of PLS in real-world research. Tässä artikkelissa kuvaamme tieteidenvälisen tutkimus- ja kehittämishankkeen suunnittelua ja toteutusta. Käymme läpi prosessia, jossa eri tieteenalojen tutkijat pyrkivät tuottamaan hyvinvoinnista uutta, eri menetelmiä yhteen sovittavaa tietoa, ja löytämään yhteisiä vastauksia eri alojen näkökulmasta asetettuihin kysymyksiin. The lack of replication of key effects in psychology has highlighted some fundamental problems with reporting of research findings and methods used (Asendorpf et al., 2013; Open Science Collaboration, 2015). Problems with replication have been attributed to sources of bias such as questionable research practices like HARK-ing (Kerr, 1998) or p-hacking (Simmons et al., 2011). Another potential source of bias is lack of precision in the conduct and methods used in psychological research, which likely introduces systematic error into data collected with the potential to affect results. The aim of this paper is to analyse, through the toolbox of gender geography, the methodology of positionality and situated knowledge. The article examines some spatial practices of the transfeminist movement Non Una di Meno that involve us both as researchers and activists. The different forms of territorialisation and ways of “doing with” the space of the movement, are here presented through the specific cases of the demonstrations organised during the Covid-19 pandemic on the 25th of November 2020 and 8th March 2021. This enables us to present the methodology of positionality, and to analyse how feminist spatial practices can be the object of research and vice versa.
