La distrofia miotónica tipo 1 es una enfermedad genética rara multisistémica que afecta a 1 de cada 3000-8000 personas. La causa molecular de la enfermedad proviene de repeticiones tóxicas “CTG” en el gen DMPK (DM Protein Kinase). Tras la transcripción, estas repeticiones forman una estructura de horquilla que se une con alta afinidad a la familia de proteínas MBNL (Muscleblind-like) que agota su función de regulación de la poliadenilación y el splicing alternativo postranscripcional en numerosos transcritos. Epistemic uses of the pretérito pluscuamperfecto in La Paz Spanish

This paper explores epistemic-evidential uses of the pluperfect, i.e. pretérito pluscuamperfecto, in La Paz Spanish. The pretérito pluscuamperfecto displays functions of a reported evidential form, conforming to results from previous studies on Argentinian Spanish (Bermúdez 2008; Speranza 2014) and, furthermore, is used according to a previously unnoticed inferential evidential function. Using theoretical frameworks from Kockelman (1957) and Bergqvist (2018), this paper describes the configuration of participant roles and event types implied in the different evidential functions of the pretérito pluscuamperfecto.

ABSTRACTThis article examines the experience of being seen and analyzes its central role in the formation of a coherent sense of self. Tove Jansson’s short story from 1962, ‘The Invisible Child’, serves as the red thread of the article, and the story is analyzed in the light of Donald Winnicott’s work on social mirroring. The analysis is enriched by the psychoanalytic insights of Veikko Tahka and Heinz Kohut, and complemented by Axel Honneth’s philosophical elaborations as well as by recent developmental findings as presented by Vasudevi Reddy. Svarīgi ir pareizi identificēt šos nāves iemeslus un analizēt ikgadējos mirstības rādītājus, lai spētu saprast un izvērtēt, cik lietderīgi ir bijuši ieguldījumi veselības aprūpē, un cik efektīvi ir bijuši sasniegumi ne tikai KVS ārstēšanā, bet arī to prevencijā, kas rezultātā ļautu turpmāk spriest par izmaiņām vai uzlabojumiem veselības nozarē. Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta semiotika, uztvere un metaforas. Skaidrota semiotikas nozīme un tās saistība ar metaforām, kā uztveram lietas mums apkārt un skaidrots, kas ir metaforas, tās dažādie iedalījumi un metaforu kritika, ar kuras palīdzību tiek saprasts vai metafora ir “dzīva” vai “mirusi”.
