Until now, analyses about migrations of young people linked with French higher education seemed to focus only on costs and advantages. Especially students in training and young graduates integrating labour market. They consider strategies of job searching and studies efficiencies. Until now, these analyses about French students' and graduates' migrations didn't take into account geographical dimensions. From now, national databases allow studying regional migrations of both students and graduates. Now, one can answer to questions like: do they migrate the same way? Since French Society enters the so-called “Economy of knowledge”, migrations of young people, especially these concerning higher education graduates, are of most interests. Despite the fact that it could help to understand relations between University and work market and ways regions can evolve, the study of migrations of young people was not yet done. A set of results highlights first the main role of French capital region. It shows also main similarities and differencies of migratories' behavior.

Celem artykułu jest próba diagnozy i oceny stanu (postaci) wykształcenia ludności na obszarach wiejskich w Polsce, określanego mianem awansu edukacyjnego oraz uwarunkowań jego kształtowania (tło). Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wzrost znaczenia wykształcenia w kształtowaniu sukcesu zawodowego, zmiany aspiracji edukacyjnych dzieci i ich wsparcia ze strony rodziców, a także korzystne dla wsi dodatnie saldo migracji wewnętrznych. Despite the fact that it could help to understand University as a system and ways regions can evolve, the study of students' migrations was not yet done. A set of results highlights first the main role of French capital region. It shows also main changes in migrations of students following vocational training in University. At least, it reveals that architectures of students' migrations look like these of migrations of the whole French population.

Our perceptions of events in the Mediterranean are strongly influenced by a range of visual practices that impact on both the emotional and the political. In this paper, I set out to critically explore the visual geographies underlying photographic images of contemporary migration flows across the Mediterranean Sea. I argue the need for a methodological shift from a content analysis approach to a critical investigation of the spatial interweaving of images, gazes and aesthetic regimes that governs both the production and reception of such photographs.
