Adaptive Number Knowledge in Secondary School Students: Profiles and Antecedents
2019
Cited By :1 Export Date: 10 February 2021 Correspondence Address: McMullen, J.; Department of Teacher EducationFinland; email: jake.mcmullen@utu.fi The present study aims to examine inter-individual differences in adaptive number knowledge in secondary school students. Adaptive number knowledge is defined as a well-connected network of knowledge of numerical characteristics and arithmetic relations. Substantial and relevant qualitative differences in the strategies and expression of adaptive number knowledge have been found in primary school students still in the process of learning arithmetic. We present a study involving 879 seventh-grade students that examines the structure of individual…

Quantization of Poisson Lie Groups and Applications
1996
LetG be a connected Poisson-Lie group. We discuss aspects of the question of Drinfel'd:can G be quantized? and give some answers. WhenG is semisimple (a case where the answer isyes), we introduce quantizable Poisson subalgebras ofC ∞(G), related to harmonic analysis onG; they are a generalization of F.R.T. models of quantum groups, and provide new examples of quantized Poisson algebras.
A Multilayered Plate Theory with Transverse Shear and Normal Warping Functions
2016
A multilayered plate theory which takes into account transverse shear and normal stretching is presented. The theory is based on a seven-unknowns kinematic field with five warping functions. Four warping functions are related to the transverse shear behaviour, the fifth is related to the normal stretching. The warping functions are issued from exact three-dimensional solutions. They are related to the variations of transverse shear and normal stresses computed at specific points for a simply supported bending problem. Reddy, Cho-Parmerter and (a modified version of) Beakou-Touratier theories have been retained for comparisons. Extended versions of these theories, able to manage the normal s…
A subset of flavaglines inhibits KRAS nanoclustering and activation.
2020
The RAS oncogenes are frequently mutated in human cancers and among the three isoforms (KRAS, HRAS and NRAS), KRAS is the most frequently mutated oncogene. Here, we demonstrate that a subset of flavaglines, a class of natural anti-tumour drugs and chemical ligands of prohibitins, inhibit RAS GTP loading and oncogene activation in cells at nanomolar concentrations. Treatment with rocaglamide, the first discovered flavagline, inhibited the nanoclustering of KRAS, but not HRAS and NRAS, at specific phospholipid-enriched plasma membrane domains. We further demonstrate that plasma membrane-associated prohibitins directly interact with KRAS, phosphatidylserine and phosphatidic acid, and these int…
Garantías legales del concepto de privacidad: Entre el derecho al olvido y el nuevo reglamento europeo de protección de datos
2018
The operation of new technologies and the supply of digital goods involves for users to disclose their personal data. The market data is already a reality with the danger that this entails for the privacy of citizens. The new General Data Protection Regulation has created a new legal framework that aims to radically change the current model, giving users greater powers to control their data. A good example of this is the express statement, and for the first time, of the right to be forgotten, which allows citizens to digitally erase their data when other fundamental rights are endangered.
Il trust autodichiarato e il trust onlus. Regime di pubblicità e soggettività giuridica
2015
The work revises critical positions of literature and case-law on self-declared trust and on no-profit trust (so called trust Onlus), both in terms of the rules on registration, both in terms of the legal subjectivity of the trust, denied by the civil dominant doctrine, despite recent legislative actions and new applications of negotiating practices
En torno a la igualdad en la fundamentación de los derechos sociales | On the Subject of Equality as a Foundation of Social Rights
2017

Abstract: This paper addresses some questions on the foundation of social rights from an egalitarian perspective. As universal human rights, social rights are assigned to all peop…

Reflexiones sobre el protocolo familiar jurídico.
2020
The purpose of this work is to analyse the family protocol, as a framework document regulating the family trading company. The pacts assumed in the family protocol will be particularly relevant as a measure of safeguarding the company, hence the importance of its effectiveness in legal and legal terms.
