In this chapter, we present the results of the Finnish pandemic study. Compared to many other countries included in this report, the Finnish higher education system is small: In 2021, there were approximately 310,000 undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students studying in Finnish higher education institutions (Vipunen, 2022). Furthermore, the system is quite homogenous in a sense that it is mainly publicly funded. However, the dual system has different kinds of institutions: universities and universities of applied sciences (UAS), which have different missions, as well as their own legislation. Tutkielmassa tarkastelen prosessin kehittämistä lainsäädäntöprosessin ja julkisen hallinnon tietotekniikan (IT:n) uudistamisen näkökulmista. Tutkielmassa yhdistyvät toimintaprosessien kehittämisen ja sähköisen julkisen hallinnon tieteellisen tutkimisen näkökulmat. Tarkastelen lainsäädäntöprosessin kehittämistä osana julkisen hallinnon arkkitehtuurikehyksen mukaista toiminta-arkkitehtuuria. Tutkielma on kirjallisuuskatsaus lainsäädäntöprosessin ja sen tietojärjestelmätuen kehittämiseen liittyvään tietojärjestelmätieteen tutkimukseen. Tutkin Pro gradu -tutkimuksessani lastensuojelun asiakkaana olevan vanhemman toimijuuden rakentumista lastensuojeluasiakkuudessa. Tarkastelen toimijuutta vanhempien kertomuksissa toimivasta lastensuojelusta. Lastensuojelun julkisuuskuva on perin negatiivinen. Julkisuutta saavat suuressa määrin huonot kokemukset lastensuojelusta, eikä lastensuojelu lapsi -ja perhekeskeisenä työnä näy ulospäin. Vääristynyt julkisuuskuva on huolestuttanut sosiaalityön ammattilaisia jo pitkään, koska se saattaa monissa tapauksissa vaikeuttaa lastensuojelutyön tekemistä. ABSTRACTThis study extends previous research on recovery from work stress by investigating the role of qualitative job demands and leadership in employees’ work-related rumination (WRR). The long-term development of WRR was examined from a person-centred approach across 22 months. Drawing on the stressor-detachment framework and conservation of resources theory, we investigated whether different WRR profiles could be understood in terms of levels of and changes in quantitative, cognitive, and emotional job demands, several aspects of supervisory leadership, and exhaustion that was expected to result from the impeded energy restoration process. Gradual angioplasty and stent implantation to treat complete superior vena cava occlusion after Mustard procedure

A 16-year-old male was admitted with complete occlusion of the superior vena cava pathway 14 years after Mustard procedure for transposition of the great arteries. From a left subclavian vein approach, the atretic vein segment was perforated using a straight guidewire, and was followed by sequential balloon dilation. Implantation of a 30 mm Palmaz-stent through a femoral vein approach resulted in a widely patent channel of the vena cava superior into the systemic venous atrium. © 1996 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
