Assessment conceptions of Finnish pre-service teachers

The aim of this quantitative survey study (N = 287) was to investigate the assessment conceptions of three different pre-service teacher groups (classroom teachers, subject teachers and special needs teachers). Assessment conceptions were best described by the following three main factors: 1) assessment of learning, 2) assessment for teaching and learning and 3) assessment as a harmful action. These main factors were clustered into three assessment conception profiles – assessment-cautious, assessment-positive and assessment-critical. The study aims were to 1) examine profiles of perception of motor competence (PMC) in relation to actual motor competence (AMC), i.e. under-estimators (UEs), realistic estimators (REs) and over-estimators (OEs) and 2) investigate associations between the profiles and selected socioecological factors at the individual, family and environmental levels. The study reports an intervention study on a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The intervention was conducted using some activities included in the RE4BES protocol, a collection of guidelines for the implementation of educational robots intervention for children and young people with special educational eeeds. To assess the efficacy of the intervention, an A-B-A quasi-experimental design was used, in which the involved child was repeatedly evaluated before, during and after treatment. Just transition is gaining increasing attention. The need to consider social justice in sustainability transitions is finally being acknowledged. Research on this issue has, to date, mainly concentrated on energy systems. In this paper, we examine how the elaboration of dietary transition widens the spectrum of justice questions in sustainability transitions research. We explicate the arising normative questions along the dimensions of distributive, procedural and recognitive justice; widening the considerations further to restorative and cosmopolitan justice. Ochrona niezamożnych konsumentów na rynku usług finansowych

Opracowanie stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy ochrona osób niezamożnych na rynku usług finansowych powinna być realizowana odrębnie w stosunku do powszechnie obowiązujących zasad oraz jakie elementy powinna obejmować ta ochrona? Ponadto – jakie podmioty powinny jej udzielać – czy te, które już istnieją na rynku, czy inne, nowe? Problem ochrony osób niezamożnych wynika stąd, że w dużej mierze osoby te są wykluczone z rynku podstawowego (mainstream market), objętego ochroną prawną. Część osób korzysta z oferty rynku alternatywne-go, czy wręcz nieformalnego. Wydaje się więc, że dodatkowa ochrona osób niezamożnych powinna być ukierunkowana na te właśnie obszary rynku usług finansowych.
