Teacher attitudes in Italy after 40 years of inclusion

In 1977, Italy adopted a policy to fully include students with disabilities in mainstream classrooms. This study surveyed the attitudes of Italian teachers towards inclusive education 40 years after this reform. The data were collected from 153 basic school teachers using the Teachers' Attitudes towards Inclusion Scale (TAIS). The results indicate that the Italian teachers had a high level of commitment to inclusive education. Approximately 90% of the respondents agreed that students with special educational needs should be educated in mainstream classrooms, and only 7% felt that they should be transferred to special education classrooms instead. Grounded in achievement goal theory and basic psychological needs theory, the aim of this study was to examine the impact of the interaction of perceived motivational climate in physical education with psychological needs satisfaction (relatedness, competence and autonomy) and psychobiosocial states on student intention to engage in leisure-time physical activity. Minimal learning machine in anomaly detection from hyperspectral images

Abstract. Anomaly detection from hyperspectral data needs computationally efficient methods to process the data when the data gathering platform is a drone or a cube satellite. In this study, we introduce a minimal learning machine for hyperspectral anomaly detection. Minimal learning machine is a novel distance-based classification algorithm, which is now modified to detect anomalies. Besides being computationally efficient, minimal learning machine is also easy to implement. Based on the results, we show that minimal learning machine is efficient in detecting global anomalies from the hyperspectral data with low false alarm rate.

Las necesidades espirituales, cuando son elaboradas de forma efectiva, ayudarán a la persona al final de la vida a encontrar significado, mantener la esperanza y aceptar la muerte. El counselling es una de las terapias más utilizadas para mejorar estas necesidades. El objetivo del presente trabajo es ofrecer evidencia sobre la eficacia de esta terapia para la mejora de la espiritualidad de los pacientes atendidos en diversos dispositivos de salud.
