Cel pracy. Celem badania była (1) ocena stopnia przygotowania studentów pielęgniarstwa i położnictwa do egzaminu typu OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), (2) poznanie opinii studentów na temat egzaminowania w formie OSCE i (3) poznanie emocji towarzyszących egzaminowi.Materiał i metody. Zbadano 160 (53,33%) studentów kierunku pielęgniarstwo oraz 140 (46,67%) studentów kierunku położnictwo z 5 uczelni medycznych. Zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego i technikę ankietowania. Objetivo: Determinar las repercusiones maternas y perinatales de las gestantes con reacciónen cadena de la polimerasa positiva para SARS-CoV-2 durante el parto y el puerperio clínico.Método: Estudio observacional descriptivo, retrospectivo y multicéntrico realizado mediantela revisión de historias clínicas de las gestantes ingresadas por parto desde el 1 de marzo hastael 30 de junio de 2020.Resultados: Se analizaron 13 mujeres con reacción en cadena de la polimerasa positiva a SARS-CoV-2. This study aims to verify the association between nurses' perception of the meaningfulness of their work and their pleasure in working, and whether this relationship may change based on the level of deep acting performed to cope with emotional regulation demands and the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on the healthcare work.Nurses from both private and public Italian institutions (N = 239) completed an online questionnaire between June 2021 and January 2022. Abstract CONTEXT: Data regarding palliative sedation at home in dying patients are lacking. OBJECTIVES: To describe the frequency, indication, and modality of palliative sedation (PS) in patients followed at home. METHODS: A retrospective analysis of home care cancer patients was performed. Patients who received PS before dying were selected and information about epidemiologic characteristics, indications, duration, drugs, and outcomes was collected. Purpose In recent years, the number of palliative service providers has increased significantly. This expansion necessitates an evaluation in order to provide the basis for quality improvement of the care. Policymakers, managers of palliative care programs, and others committed to the improvement of end-of-life care need methods and criteria to measure and evaluate the care delivered. Objetivo: las caídas y el miedo a caerse se relacionan entre sí, siendo cada uno de ellos factor de riesgo del otro. Este trabajo pretende analizar la efectividad de una intervención para reducir el miedo a caer y sus consecuencias dado que la aplicación de este tipo de tratamientos ha mostrado resultados satisfactorios. Método: mediante un diseño cuasi-experimental, con medidas pre-pos, se evaluó a 53 sujetos, con edades comprendidas entre 65 y 89 años y que habían sufrido una caída anterior. Introduction: Nursing environment is a vast concept that traditionally has included a wide range of job characteristics and has been related to burnout and job satisfaction. For its measurement, the Practice Environment Scale of the Nursing Work Index (PESNWI) stands out. However, shorter instruments are needed. The purpose of the study is to develop and test the Brief Nurses' Practice Environment (BNPE) Scale.Methods: The BNPE Scale was developed and tested in a sample of 210 Spanish nurses (data collection 2018).Results: Cronbach's alpha was 0.702.
