International audience; The excavations at Lavau brought to light a large monumental necropolis with a central burial mound overlying an undisturbed chieftain’s grave from the end of the Early Iron Age or the beginning of the Late Iron Age. In the funerary chamber rich grave furniture accompanied the dead: a bronze cauldron containing serving and drinking vessels of ceramic, silver, and bronze, two bronze plates, and a cist. This article focuses on skilled migration flows from Southern Europe into Mexico. From semi-structured interviews with Spanish and Italian immigrants living in four Mexican cities of Mexico, it addresses both reasons for immigration and labour incorporation in Mexican labour markets. Specifically, it explores: i) the role of the economic crisis and the lack of good employment in the countries of origin as a key factor when deciding an international migration; ii) the employment opportunities offered in Mexican labour markets for the highly-skilled immigrants, and iii) the role played by the Mexican state and its current immigration law when channelling this group into the labour market

This study aimed to evaluate the antinociceptive activity of endemic Eryngium kotschyi Boiss. root extracts by bioguided fractionation. This research investigates the long¿run after¿performance of firms conducting seasoned equity offering in the Spanish market during the period 1993¿1999. Due to statistical and conceptual problems related to the estimation and contrast of long¿horizon returns, we analyse the robustness of results to different methodologies. We obtain evidence that issuers experience negative abnormal returns economically and statistically significant during the year after the event. These results are robust to different metrics, estimations and tests used. Finally, underperformance is more severe in small, growth firms.
