Muuttuva maailma, erilaisia oppijoita - millainen oppimisympäristö?

Muuto on ajankohtainen puheenaihe monilla areenoilla. Eikä ihme, sillä yhteiskuntamme on merkittävällä tavalla monikielisempi, monikulttuurisempi ja monimediaisempi kuin koskaan aikaisemmin. Oppilasaines on entistä heterogeenisempää, mikä luo tarpeen erilaisille oppijanpoluille. Koulun ja oppijoiden vapaa-ajan teksti-­ ja mediamaailmojen eriytyminen toisistaan haastaa kielikouluttajat pohtimaan oppimisen sisältöjä, toimintatapoja ja -­ympäristöjä uudelleen. Kielenoppimiseen ja -­opetukseen tarvitaan myös uudenlaista jatkumoajattelua (ks. Aalto et al. tässä julkaisussa), jotta kielikoulutuksen eri vaiheet niveltyisivät mielekkääksi kokonaisuudeksi. I settori costieri e collinari della Sicilia nord-orientale e delle Eolie sono stati esplorati ai fini della raccolta di informazioni aggiornate sulla distribuzione dei popolamenti di palma nana e sulle caratteristiche ecologiche delle stazioni che li ospitano. I risultati delle indagini di campo sono stati integrati dalla verifica dei toponimi locali legati ai nomi dialettali della specie. Si con- ferma la totale assenza della palma nana lungo l’intero settore costiero dei Nebrodi. The ultimate goal of learning algorithms is to find the best solution from a search space without testing each and every solution available in the search space. During the evolution process new solutions (children) are produced from existing solutions (parents), where new solutions are expected to be better than existing solutions. This paper presents a new parent selection method for the crossover operation in genetic programming. This article offers an overview of multimodal language pedagogies as a research domain. The review starts with a chronology of the development, explores different approaches to the research and offers a sample of key studies in the field. The main focus in these key studies is on interaction, expertise and pedagogical design in multimodal environments. Ympäristön monimuotoisuutta mitataan pääasiassa erilaisten biologisten yksiköiden lukumäärinä. Populaatiogenetiikassa ne ovat geenejä tai alleeleja yhden lajin sisällä, yhteisöekologiassa puolestaan lajeja eliöyhteisöjen sisällä. Molemmat näistä monimuotoisuuden tasoista – lajin sisäinen ja lajien välinen monimuotoisuus – muokkautuvat ekologisten ja evolutiivisten prosessien kautta, jotka puolestaan syntyvät ympäristön olosuhteista.
