Background: Drowning is a major public health issue, with risk increasing during times of flood. Driving into floodwater is a major risk factor for flood-related drowning and injury, and despite widespread public health campaigns, many people continue to undertake this risky behaviour and require rescue. Kooperatīva mācīšanās kā līdzeklis 7-12 gadu vecu bērnu kapoeiras kustību iegaumēšanai

Šajā maģistra darbā autore pētīja, vai kooperatīvā mācīšanās uzlabo kapoeira horeogrāfiju atcerēšanos. Autore organizēja 9 video novērošanas sesijas 7-12 gadus veciem kapoeira audzēkņiem Capokids Capoeira Latvia organizētajās nodarbībās. Trīs bērnu grupas strādāja katrā no trim mācību organizācijas formām: indivīduāli, grupu darbs, un darbs pāros. Kopumā pētījumā piedalījās 53 bērni. Autore analizēja bērnu sasniegumus un pētīja uzvedību. Papildus uzmanība tika pievērsta bērniem ar augstu sasniegumu līmeni un bērniem ar dažādām vajadzībām. The implementation of new special education legislation in Finland

This article examines the implementation of new special education legislation in Finland among students with significant disabilities. The data consist of a nationwide survey and field observations. In the analysis, a policy implementation framework is utilized as a theoretical lens. The findings suggest that schools and municipalities that had participated in long-term development projects had more capacity and willingness to reform special education practices substantially, suggesting that learning in one policy area can transfer to other domains across multiple levels of national and local governments. This doctoral thesis empirically evaluates the effects of monetary policy on income and wealth inequality in two of the main monetary areas of the world: the Eurozone and the United States. Moreover, in the case of the Eurozone, the interaction between the dynamics of income inequality and banking activity is evaluated, distinguishing between banking structures. Pēcoperācijas ātriju fibrilācija (POĀF) ir biežākā komplikācija pacientiem, kuriem veikta operācija uz atvērtas sirds. Kā rezultātā tā ietekmē morbiditāti, mortalitāti, kā arī palielina finansiālas izmaksas. Pētījuma mērķis ir uzzināt vai ir korelācija starp veiktiem pirms operācijas standarta izmeklējuma rezultātiem un pēcoperācijas ātriju fibrilāciju. Jo nosakot augsta riska pacientu var uzsākt preventīvu ārstēšanu.
