Sports didactics : The shift towards pedagogical framework in Finland

The teaching of physical education (PE) to educators in Finland has shifted from didactic techniques focusing on teachers’ actions towards more holistic pedagogy that questions how pupils learn. These changes can be seen in physical education teacher education (PETE) and study books and in the development of PE curriculums for basic education. The national curriculum for basic education changes approximately every ten years and, recently, the national learning outcomes of PE of the two previous curriculums were evaluated. Fixed versus Growth Mindset Does not Seem to Matter Much

Psychology predicts that a student’s mindset—their implicit theory of intelligence—has an effect on their academic performance. We attempted to corroborate this in the computer science education context by asking the students on two bachelor-level courses, typically taken in the third year of studies, to fill out a standard mindset questionnaire, and analyzing their answers in relation to their grades on those courses. Koulun henkilökunnan kokemuksiin etäkouluajalta tulee perehtyä, jotta etäkoulu voidaan toteuttaa oppilaiden hyvinvointia ja oppimista tukien. Kyselytutkimuksella selvitimme Keski-Suomen koulujen henkilökunnan (270 vastausta 27 peruskoulusta) ajatuksia oppilaiden hyvinvoinnista etäkoulussa sekä sen myönteisistä ja kielteisistä puolista oppilaille. Temaattisen analyysin perusteella etäkoulu nähtiin uuden oppimisen ja kehittymisen ajanjaksona; monen oppilaan tietotekniset taidot ja itseohjaavuus kehittyivät. Abstract Despite the increasing interest in CLIL in Greece over the past decade, Greek CLIL research is largely absent from international review studies. This systematic review focuses on primary and secondary education, and examines peer-reviewed empirical research on CLIL implementation in Greece from 2006 to 2020. A total of 33 items are reviewed using qualitative Content Analysis. Lääkärin ammatissa tarvitaan ammatillisten tietojen ja kliinisten taitojen hallinnan ohella vuorovaikutusosaamista, jota voidaan kehittää vuorovaikutuskoulutuksen avulla. Tässä tutkimuksessa1 kuvataan ja verrataan puheviestinnän opetuskokeiluun osallistuneiden lääketieteen toisen vuosikurssin opiskelijoiden (N = 132) itsearvioituja oppimistuloksia kolmessa ryhmässä. Opetuskokeilussa opiskelijat jaettiin satunnaisesti kolmeen ryhmään, joissa käytettiin erilaisia oppimismenetelmiä.
