Factors selection in landslide susceptibility modelling on large scale following the gis matrix method: application to the river Beiro basin (Spain)

A procedure to select the controlling factors connected to the slope instability has been defined. It allowed us to assess the landslide susceptibility in the Rio Beiro basin (about 10 km2) over the northeastern area of the city of Granada (Spain). Field and remote (Google EarthTM) recognition techniques allowed us to generate a landslide inventory consisting in 127 phenomena. To discriminate between stable and unstable conditions, a diagnostic area had been chosen as the one limited to the crown and the toe of the scarp of the landslide. 15 controlling or determining factors have been defined considering topographic, geologic, geomorphologic and pedologic available data. Tirant is a new member of the gypsy family of retrotransposons in Drosophila melanogaster.

In this paper, we propose a consensus sequence for a putative complete Tirant retrotransposon. Several defective copies, as well as relevant sequences available in databases have been analyzed. The putative complete Tirant element is 8533 bp long, and presents all the structural features of a retroviruslike transposable element of the gypsy family. It contains three ORFs (open reading frames) that encode putative products resembling the retroviral Gag, Pol, and Env proteins. Abstract We construct two invariants for a pair of transverse one-dimensional foliations on the plane. If the set of separatrices is Hausdorff in the space of leaves, the invariant is a distinguished graph. In case there are a finite number of separatrices the invariant is an indexed link.

En este estudio se emplea la microscopía electrónica de barrido (MEB) para detallar numerosas características morfológicas de este género hasta ahora poco conocidas. En concreto, el número de nematotecas axilares, la forma de las nematotecas caulinares y de las hidrotecas adquieren un nuevo significado a través de este instrumento. Introducción: El principal motivo de este estudio es determinar las características morfológicas de la superficie corneal anterior de dos grupos poblacionales en la provincia de Imbabura- Ecuador, obtenidos por medio de un topógrafo corneal de reflexión Tomey TMS– 4N. Metodología: Se incluyeron dos grupos poblacionales dentro de esta investigación. Se analizaron 100 ojos de 100 sujetos (mujeres 66, hombres 34) y como segundo grupo, a la población afroecuatoriana ubicada en la misma provincia, donde se estudiaron 95 ojos de 95 sujetos (mujeres 46, hombres 49).
