Bricolage in the marketing efforts of a social enterprise

Purpose The paper aims to understand how resource constraints are addressed in the development of a marketing strategy by a social enterprise. Design/methodology/approach The authors have used an in-depth case study of collaboration between a Finnish university and an Indian social enterprise as the methodology for the research in which the data were collected over a period of two years. The data involve semi-structured interviews, field notes and student reports. Findings The authors propose bricolage as a method of marketing ingenuity in resource-constrained social enterprises. Three new lytic bacteriophages were found to effectively control the pathogen Ralstonia solanacearum, a quarantine bacterium in many countries, and causative agent of bacterial wilt, one of the most important vascular plant diseases. Bacterial wilt management has been carried out with fluctuating effects, suggesting the need to find alternative treatments. Introduction: The majority of young women use oral contraceptives (OCs). Use of OCs has been associated with lower myofibrillar protein and tendon collagen synthesis rates, but it is unknown whether OCs will limit the adaptive response of myotendinous tissue to resistance training. El presente artículo se centra en el estudio de las imágenes literarias y pictóricas de una enigmática figura de la historia mexicana: la Malinche. Se intenta establecer una especie de diálogo entre las representaciones de estos dos registros, cuyas réplicas parecen completarse y, al mismo tiempo, dejar en evidencia la “no integridad” y a veces, incluso, la controversia del retrato de Malintzín. La figura de la joven india parece, más bien, un puzzle caleidoscópico de colores y palabras que se han pronunciado sobre ella. Por tanto, el objetivo de este artículo es configurar una conversación entre estas imágenes de la Malinche.
