Discrimination between hetero- and conspecifics is the elementary choice an individual performs when searching for potential mates. The level of selectivity and strength of species discrimination is modified by variance in the quality of females, level of the male’s reproductive investment, mate search costs, and the competitive environment. Diplomdarba tēma ir „Etnogrāfisko rakstu motīvu izmantošana apdrukas dizainā‖. Diplomdarba mērķis ir, balstoties uz teorētiskajā daļā iegūtajām zināšanām, un pētnieciskajā daļā iegūtajiem rezultātiem, izveidot katalogu ar baltu zīmju ornamentu paraugiem, kuri domāti apdrukas iespējām. Lai veiksmīgi realizētu darba izvirzīto mērķi, tika veikta latviešu un lietuviešu zīmju un rakstu salīdzināšana. Pētījuma rezultātā tika secināts, ka latviešu, lietuviešu zīmēs un rakstos ir daudz līdzību un vienojošu elementu. Šīs līdzības var izmantot veidojot jaunus ornamentu variantus. Izpētes darba uzdevums ir skaidrot Latvijas bruņoto spēku atribūtikas saikni ar Latvijas valsts un municipālo heraldiku, kā arī saikni ar nacionālo simboliku tautas ornamenta dimensijā. Identificējot un uzskaitot izpētes elementu klātbūtni vienību atribūtikā, tiek rasti secinājumi par iespējamām likumsakarībām un zināmu sistēmu. Darbs apskata publiski pieejamo Latvijas bruņoto spēku atribūtiku pēc neatkarības atgūšanas, analizējot vizuālo attēlojumu pēc noteiktajiem kritērijiem, lai secinātu, cik lielā mērā ir saglabāta saikne ar Valsts simboliem un tautas senajām tradīcijām.

Bestattungsensemblesin Truchtersheim „Holderacker“, etwa 12 km nordwestlich von Straßburg, hat uns bewegt uns mit der gesamten für das Elsassverfügbaren Dokumentation der frühbronzezeitlichen Bestattungssitten zu befassen.
