Alternative displays of effect size statistics can enhance the understandability and impact of validity evidence in a variety of applied settings. Arguably, the proliferation of alternative effect size statistics has been limited due to the lack of user-friendly tools to create them. Common statistical packages do not readily produce these alternative effect sizes and existing tools are outdated and inaccessible. This study aimed to develop a valid and reliable performance analysis template for quantifying team action variables in elite men’s wheelchair basketball. First action variables and operational definitions were identified by the authors and verified by an expert panel of wheelchair basketball coaching staff in order to establish expert validity. A total of 109 action variable were then placed into 17 agreed Categorical Predictor Variable categories. In addition, XC skiing is a major component of both Nordic combined and biathlon competitions. Validation of the swimming competence questionnaire for children

Two studies were employed to test the reliability and validity of the Swimming Competence Questionnaire (SCQ) among primary school children. Study 1 was a cross-sectional survey in 4959 primary school children. Study 2 was a pre-post-test quasi-experiment among 1609 primary school children who underwent a 20-lesson learn-to-swim programme. Este estudio analizo las propiedades psicometricas de la Escala de Percepcion de Promocion del Bienestar para Entrenadores (EPPBE), compuesta por 6 dimensiones: Autocontrol, castigo, apoyo social, apoyo a la autonomia, apoyo a la competencia y apoyo a la afiliacion. Se administro la escala a 506 entrenadores y se realizo un analisis factorial confirmatorio. La validez nomologica se analizo a traves de las relaciones de las variables con la satisfaccion de necesidades basicas y la motivacion autodeterminada.
