Activa o pasiva, la población civil se convirtió en objetivo militar, sufriendo evacuaciones, bombardeos y represión. Este libro profundiza en el sentimiento del miedo a través de sus diversas variantes, indluido el terror y la angustia. No se detiene en los campos de batalla, sino que prolonga su cuestionamiento hasta la actualidad. Si difícil es la aprehensión del miedo, más difusa parece su presentación en imágenes como son la prensa ilustrada, la pintura, el dibujo, el cartel, la fotografía o el cine. Nuevas terminaciones para nuevas realidades: performatividad, afiliación y atenuación en la comunidad de habla LGTBI

Este artículo presenta un estudio sobre las terminaciones -i/-is y -e/-es en la comunidad de habla LGTBI. La motivación de esta investigación viene de la representación del género no binario en la lengua española, marcado recientemente por las terminaciones en -e, que además es utilizado para crear un plural inclusivo que evite el masculino genérico. En la misma línea, se han detectado usos, dentro de la comunidad de habla LGTBI, de otro grupo de terminaciones (-i/-is) que parecen anular la distinción de género. In 2017, in Sicily, the minors are 7.937. The island is the main region that hosts migrants and where 40,9% of the Unaccompanied Foreign Minors are present. The analysis proposes a reflection on the difficulties encountered by minors in the new country and on the contradictions that come from the different meaning that age, as a conceptual category and as the organizational principle of society, has for the social actors involved.

Abstract Inverse agonists of the GABA A receptor clearly decrease the amplitudes of the spontaneous EEG in the P-frequency range. Therefore, we tested the hypothesis that panic patients exhibit a reduction of the EEGs spectral power in the P-frequency band. Ten unmedicated patients with panic disorder and agoraphobia according to DSM-III-R criteria and 10 matched controls were investigated under baseline conditions, after hyperventilation and 30 min after hyperventilation. Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the source of nitrogen used by Panicum maximum Jacq. plants in salt soil. Experimenting pots in a greenhouse with a medium of saline soil. The 2 × 3 factorial design is used in repeated trials. The first factor is calcium sulfate (0 and 2 t ha−1), the second factor is N fertilizer includes (a) without nitrogen = N0, (b) 60 kg N of potassium nitrate (KNO3) and (c) 60 kg N of ammonium sulfate (NH4SO4). The parameters observed were nitrogen uptake, constant growth rate (CGR), biomass yield, crude protein content, NDF, and ADF. Mepanipyrim haptens and antibodies with nanomolar affinity

Mepanipyrim is an anilinopyrimidine fungicide used worldwide for crop protection. With the aim of developing useful immunoreagents for mepanipyrim immunoanalysis, two new functionalized derivatives were prepared and antibodies were generated. Affinity and specificity were assessed by direct and indirect competitive ELISA using homologous and heterologous conjugates. Although all antibodies were selective for the target analyte, the immunizing hapten structure was revealed as a determinant for high-affinity antibody production (IC50 = 3 nM). © 2013 The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Il complesso carmelitano dell’Annunziata a Trapani, costituito dalla chiesa e dal convento annesso (oggi sede del Museo Regionale Agostino Pepoli), appare come un’architettura fortemente stratificata, frutto di una lunga e complessa vicenda progettuale che si snoda dal XIV secolo fino alla metà del Settecento. Questo progetto di ricerca ha lo scopo di ampliare le conoscenze di alcune piante appartenenti alla flora Mediterranea. Le piante da studiare sono state scelte in seguito ad un’attenta analisi bibliografica tra specie poco sudiate. La scelta è quindi ricaduta su nove specie appartenenti al genere Anthemis, due specie appartenenti al genere Pulicaria e sulle specie di Tetraclinis articulata, Salvia argentea, Ajuga tenorei, Ballota hispanica, Moluccella Spinosa e Thapsia garganica.
