Successive series of religion coursebooks for the middle school are being created nowadays. These positions are adjusted to the binding Roman Catholic Religion curriculum in kindergardens and schools from 2010. Concern to realize all catechetical tasks is visible in these coursebboks. The article is a contribution to the biography of the Catholic clergyman, parish priest in the parish of Łubniany located in Upper Silesia – the Rev. Franciszek Pogrzeba. He was one of the fourteen priests who signed the so-called “Appeal to Priests”, in compliance with which they broke off their cooperation with the Catholic German Center Party (Deutsche Zentrumspartei) and supported the Deputies of the “Polish Circle” in the German Parliament. After World War 1, the Rev. Pogrzeba actively engaged for incorporation of Upper Silesia into Poland. The coronavirus epidemic has become a completely unexpected challenge for the pastoral activity of the Church. The introduced restrictions on the number of the faithful who can participate in the parish liturgy and in some countries even the complete closure of places of worship, resulted in a new perception of the role of media broadcasts of the Eucharist. The article presents the history of introducing television broadcasts of the Holy Mass and the related and variously solved problem of the place where such a liturgy is celebrated. As burial registers corresponding to a fully excavated funeral assemblage are rather rare, the present study endeavours toexamine both wrritten data and bone remains from a chape frequented during the 17th and 18th centuries. The disparity between thepopulatiom described by the two types of sources, particularly concerning the proportions of children in each, would encourage us toreconsider wiith caution the evaluation of burial groups based on bone assemblages which are not informed by written sources. Analysisof the latter will allow us to evaluate more accurately just how representative the archaeological evidence is with respect to the overalloccupation of a given site.
Repertuar liturgiczny w kościele pw. św. Jana Chrzciciela w Jodłowie na podstawie parafialnego inwentarza muzycznego z 1939 r

W artykule opisano liczący 81 pozycji inwentarz muzykaliów kościoła pw. św. Jana Chrzciciela w Jodłowie na ziemi kłodzkiej. Zbiór składał się w większości z łatwych do wykonania utworów przeznaczonych na czterogłosowy chór mieszany z towarzyszeniem orkiestry lub organów. Miejscowy zespół wokalno-instrumentalny dysponował m.in.: 34 mszami (w tym sześcioma za zmarłych), siedmioma zbiorami graduałów i ofertoriów oraz dziewięcioma litaniami. Dużą grupę muzykaliów stanowiły różnego rodzaju opracowania chóralne pieśni kościelnych, zwłaszcza maryjnych i pogrzebowych.
