Books about John Paul II aimed at the young reader were published even during the Pope's lifetime. However, their number increased rapidly after his canonization in 2014. Authors and publishers of such books presentthe image of Karol Wojtyła as a model of life and humanity based on love, goodness, honesty, and tolerance. This model is close to the Church's teachings and the educational standard that was used across many centuries. A real-life example has a much better chance to appeal to the child, as it shows that it is actually possible to follow said model. The body fables in Babrius, Fab. 134 and 1 Corinthians 12: Hierarchic or democratic leadership in crisis management?

Body metaphors and body fables were frequently used in ancient discourse for social communities and politics. This article will examine a body fable by the Greek fabulist Babrius (Babrius, Fab . 134) that has been overlooked in research so far. It shows a remarkable similarity to 1 Corinthians 12 through the use of central terms such as σῶμα and μέλος or personified speaking body parts such as an eye and head. Even if no literary direct dependence is claimed, the text, which was written at about the same time as 1 Corinthians, sheds light on Paul’s understanding of the body fable. Nel caso di atti a titolo gratuito invece la revoca mira a evitare un ingiustificato arricchimento del terzo. The paper examines the juridical nature of the actio pauliana and of the bankrupty invalidation action and the reasons of these actions, which are based on a tort committed by the debtor and by the third party. In the case of free-of-charge deeds, however, these actions aim to avoid unjustified enrichment of the third party.

En este trabajo abordo la cuestión de si el autoconocimiento es compatible con una individuación externista del contenido mental. En contra de algunas posiciones, considero el autoconocimiento como un logro cognitivo genuino. Aunque no es incorregible ni infalible, el autoconocimiento es directo (no inferencial), a priori (no basado en la investigación empírica), y dotado de especial autoridad y presunción de verdad. Ekumeniczny program św. Jana Pawła II cechuje nie tylko wymiar horyzontalny, urzeczywistniający się w osobistych spotkaniach, w wymianie myśli i duchowych darów. Obejmuje także wymiar wertykalny, polegający „na wspólnym i wzajemnym uznaniu naszej kondycji jako ludzi, którzy zgrzeszyli”, co – według Jana Pawła II – otwiera „wewnętrzną przestrzeń, w której Chrystus jako źródło jedności Kościoła może skutecznie działać mocą swego Ducha – Parakleta” (UUS, nr 35). Nadając ekumenizmowi priorytetowy charakter w programie swojego posługiwania, Jan Paweł II zwraca szczególną uwagę na dwa elementy, które wzajemnie się warunkują. Są to: „pamięć i jej oczyszczanie oraz pojednanie”.
