Distopijas iezīmes Paula Bankovska romānā "Plāns ledus"

Bakalaura darba avottekstā izvirzīts Paula Bankovska romāns “Plāns ledus”. Pētījuma mērķis ir fiksēt un sistematizēt literārās distopijas iezīmes tajā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā sniegta distopijas jēdziena izskaidrojums. Veikta izpēte par distopijas žanra attīstību literatūrā un raksturotas galvenās žanra iezīmes. Darbā tiek izmantota salīdzinošā un aprakstošā jeb monogrāfiskā pētniecības metode, lai praktiskajā daļā identificētu kopīgās un atšķirīgās īpašības, pamatojoties uz daudzveidīgas teorētiskās literatūras apskatu darba pirmajā daļā. Bakalaura darba tēma ir aktuāla, jo Latvijas kontekstā literārais distopijas žanrs ir maz pētīts.

It argues that Jewish writers in this period could attribute «divine functions» to figures beside God, while still feeling committed to «one God». The Jewish monotheism of this period was therefore not constituted by functions or characteristics, but rather by the exclusive worship of the one God. In the heart of the island of Ushant, the protohistoric site of Mez-Notariou reveals remains of Early and Middle Bronze Age and Early Iron Age settlements. Traces of religious activity have also been discovered extending from the Middle Bronze Age to the end of Roman Antiquity. They are exemplified in particular by organized deposits of bones of mammals, fish and limpets. For 2000 years the right shoulders of mammals were chosen (60 to 80 %). Deposits of metallic objects are also connected with these practices which only ceased at the beginning of the High Middle Ages after the destruction of the site. In this article I develop the concept of kinekphrasis to designate a particular form of intermediality, speci cally, the verbal representation of cinema or other form of moving image. Kinekphrasis builds upon ekphrasis, the classical rhetorical term that today generally refers to texts about static artworks, such as paintings and statues. Representing the medial complex of cinema, however, sets a distinct sensorial and semiotic challenge to a text and brings about a form of intermediality di erent from the traditional ekphrasis. The TRAPSENSOR facility: an open-ring 7 tesla Penning trap for laserbased precision experiments

APenning-trap facility for high-precision mass spectrometry based on a novel detection method has been built. This method consists in measuring motional frequencies of singly-charged ions trapped in strong magnetic fields through the fluorescence photons from laser-cooled 40Ca+ ions, to overcome limitations faced in electronic single-ion detection techniques. The key element of this facility is an open-ring Penning trap coupled upstream to a preparation Penning trap similar to those used at Radioactive Ion Beam facilities. This article addresses teachers’ challenges in relation to other stakeholders, in light of funding policies and evaluation mechanisms. In particular, a condition where pressures toward high pass rates or ‘throughput’ in the degree system provide a good negotiation position for students with little learning orientation as to their aspirations after credit units is considered. This condition is intensified by the fact that the mere completion goals of non-learning-oriented students align with the collective goals of administration (university), given the throughput-based funding policies.
