Evaluation of the Effects of a Bullying at Work Intervention for Middle Managers.

The aim of the study is to evaluate the effects of a workplace bullying intervention based on the training of middle managers regarding bullying awareness, the consequences of bullying, strategies in conflict resolution and mediation/negotiation abilities. Overall, 142 randomly selected middle managers participated in the study. First, participants completed an information record and two scales assessing bullying strategies, role conflict and role ambiguity. The last two scales were completed again in a second phase three months after the intervention had finished. Based on the example of two quality processes deployed at the SNCF in the field of the service encounter, the aim of this article is to explore, from a clinical point of view, organizational mechanisms which encourage the denial of work. Internal Communication System Analysis in a Small Company

[EN] The aim of this paper is to analyze the internal communication system in a small company. We used structured interviews in all hierarchical levels to compare the perceptive differences and the way of using the communication tools. A total of five one-hour interview sessions were made to evaluate the involved variables in every communicative tool appointed byor-ganization members. The results showed some contradictions between the respondentsand a low horizontal and descending communication caused by the limited use of these commu-nication tools. Finally, suggestions for improvements to prevent problems and enhance their positive effects were informed.

Autora mērķis šajā rakstā bija rast risinājumu problēmai ar motivācijas trūkumu un zemu produktivitāti gadījumā, ja izplatīšanas uzņēmums Global Drinks, pirmajā daļā aprakstītas teorijas, pēc tam, kad autore nolēma veikt aptauju un apskatīt rezultātus no aptaujas iet tālāk. Rezultātu iegūšanai autore izmantoja kvantitatīvu pētījumu metodi. Aptaujas rezultāti parādīja, ka mazo uzņēmumu darbinieku labākais motivators ir algu paaugstināšana, pēc tam, kad autore konstatēja, ka uzņēmumam ir jāpaaugstina algas, tika nolemts atrast lētu veidu, kā to paaugstināt bez zaudējumiem uzņēmumam, jo tas ir maza izmēra un katra monēta tiek skaitīta.
