Scientometrics analysis of research activity and collaboration patterns in Chagas cardiomyopathy.

Background Chagas cardiomyopathy is a serious and common complication of Chagas disease. Methods Through bibliometric and Social Network Analysis, we examined patterns of research on Chagas cardiomyopathy, identifying the main countries, authors, research clusters, and topics addressed; and measuring the contribution of different countries. Results We found 1932 documents on Chagas cardiomyopathy in the MEDLINE database. The most common document type was ‘journal article’, accounting for 79.6% of the total (n = 1538), followed by ‘review’ (n = 217, 11.2%). OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to explore the relationship between perceived neighborhood social disorder and attitudes toward reporting child physical abuse. METHOD: Data from a national probabilistic sample (N=9,759) were used. Responses about the perception of neighborhood social disorder, perceived frequency of child physical abuse in Spanish families, and willingness to report a case of child physical abuse to the police were collected through face-to-face interviews in respondents' homes. Molecularly imprinted polymer-based device for field collection of oral fluid samples for cocaine identification.

In this paper, a low-cost, rapid, easy, and potentially portable tool for the identification of cocaine and its semi-quantitative determination in oral fluid has been proposed. A field collection device has been designed, based on a cotton pad with an indicator and a molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) sorbent, to selective retain cocaine from oral fluid components. After sample collection, cocaine is transferred by using phosphate buffer to the MIP and then eluted with 2-propanol. The obtained extract is analysed by ion mobility spectrometry (IMS), providing a cut-off value of 20 µg L-1 that identifies 100 % true-positive and 95 % true-negative samples.
